I am absolutely disgusted by this and don't even know how to express anything. Except to see, locally in every town, organizations need to form, citizens groups, that immediately feed the poor, because this law, bill, or whatever it is, is unlawful, violates common law and the constitution and thus is a crime to enforce and is null and void at conception. In other words, like a host of other illegal unlawful things, it doesnt even exist.

Now, that doesnt mean much in the way they run this illegal criminal government and police force, but now its to the people to denounce it and operate as if doesn't exist and support each and challenge anything they throw at you, and even if a judge is rogue and finds the illegal unlawful voided thing favorable, you would denounce his decision, declare his actions illegal and that he is rogue and continue in his face, in their face, with what is right. And take group signatures, round table where everyone, in large numbers says we will continue and you guys are fired.

In other words, DO SOMETHING!

It honestly seems like certain people making laws are just trying to drive "unsightly homeless" out of sight, out of mind; or drive them to just say # it and off themselves. Win for them either way, no more homeless to ruin the view for tourism. Wouldn't want poor people to inconvenience anyone by existing where they can be seen.....

So now it's against the law to take my money and buy food for people???? Wow this has to be one of the most ridiculous laws against the homeless, truly sad.

They have a similar law here in the UK...only, it's for feeding pigeons!

They look at wild birds and pigeons as vermin, the rationale being, if you feed the vermin, they will stay...i guess poor people in Florida are thought of in the same way.

Rather than attempt to give people a little dignity and perhaps a small, cheap home or shelter, they are deliberately attempting to starve them out, so the move on somewhere else.

Outrageous...almost as though they are criminalising being poor.

The homeless in the US are looked at as worse than vermin. As far as most cities are concerned the homeless should be bussed out of town, and then left to die.
