Both the media and the government are owned and run by the billionaires and bankers. Neither the media nor the government are in control. Both are tools of the elite. We are already a fascist country.

You and I would disagree on the Fascist label.

I'm slowly losing the "we" part of this equation, though. Hopefully within the next few years I can naturalize as a Japanese citizen.

I love the United States, I really do. But with the majority of my future plan being here in Japan, I want to be able to call myself a citizen of the country I live in. Unfortunately, part of the Japanese naturalization process requires me to renounce all other citizenship.

I mean the corporations are in bed with the state. The media is tightly controlled. We are nationalistic and militaristic. We believe strong nations have the right to control weak nations. It's all cloaked in capitalism and democracy but it's there. What are we missing really besides death camps?

It's not going to matter much either way. America and Japan are permanently joined at the hip now. If things go bad here they will go bad there. China is itching to go after Japan too

More importantly we successfully toppled regimes in Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

This is getting comical. Care to define how successfully those wars in Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan were again? if you can again?

Did you read my post or are you just a drone following whatever Obama's media says that it was "successfully "

1.Libya wasn't successfully as Chaos and Libya is turning into an Failed State.

2.Iraq was a success? are you out of your mind?

3.Afghanistan a success? really? thats why western forces are withdrawing because its an Grand Master success right dont make me laugh.

Proof, just listen to one of Putin his main advisers :

So you can believe some here on this forum who only want to make you believe it`s all Putin`s fault or you can choose to look at the bigger picture and actual see what is going on.

Russia has been assisting in the whole sale slaughter of civilians who dont support Assad.

America and Britain, Saudis have created and being assisting in the whole of civilians in Aleppo and elsewhere whomever is not supporting the beloved ""Free Syrian Army""

Currently Russia has more nationalist neo nazis in the Duma.

Its clear with that statement alone you dont understand anything about Russia Nor the region the only reason your talking tough like the media is because of the news feed.

Which is not surprising.

Porshenko

People here defending Porshenko reminds me of people whom were defending Cheney which is a sad statement.

"we successfully toppled regimes in Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan."

Are the regimes in power before we went in still there? Destabilization of the middle East is the goal, as it always has been, and we've been wildly successful. What did you think the goals were?

Reading comprehension is helpful here. Let me explain:

He said the regimes were successfully TOPPLED. In that the previous leaders were removed from power.

This is absolutely and certifiably true. He said nothing to success of the campaigns as a whole, merely that the existing regimes had been taken down.

"Markian Lubkivskyi/Facebook "

Very reablie.

Hypocrisy is a very rampant I see....

How about this...instead of making snide remarks, try proving what was said is wrong so it shouldn't be that hard if it is not reliable.

That's what I would do.

I'm not sure how you imagine me in your mind, but I'm no conservative. I'm not even really liberal either

Your foreign policy ideas and wishing for Russia to push the button even though America is more likey to push the button then Russia.

Maybe you're talking about Russia's stance on homosexuality, and some of the athlete's response to that stance? If so, again, it was a mild topic of discussion but not exactly a game-changer.

In Russia LGBT are safe from being beheaded in the Gulf States including Saudi Arabia and arent afraid on making gay porn sites which are run by Russian websites.

Oh, and RT is not a source. That's propaganda.

May i educate you?
ABC:How is this a new source if it follows the Government
CNN:Same as BBC
BBC:BBC is not a source as its an British Government Controlled propaganda.
FOX:FOX News is known For its NeoCon Agenda.

Al jazeera: Controlled by the Royal Family of the Qatari regime. (No doubt your a fan of it)
al Arabiya: By the Saudis Regime family. & Financed by America's government.

Oh and by the way Russia Today is the only news network that gives people a fair interview without being interpreted.

Care to prove me otherwise?

Worldwide support of Russia's actions in recent months has dropped to nearly zero with the exception of either a) staunchly anti-US states or b) communist states.

Your comical. I am starting to see it though in the times while your in Japan you somehow believe that World has dropped the support of Russia and in your fantasy.

The world loves America to death, your sadly wrong about that one.

1) Russia isn`t backed in a corner, you forget it`s in alliance with half the World population

2) It`s in Alliance with the biggest economy in the World

3) Russia hasn`t got a huge debt burden

4) And lower oil prices don`t hurt Russia that much

Remarkably, the impact of lower oil for Russia’s economic growth is not as severe as might be expected. Sustained oil at USD80/bbl would see growth slow by 1.8pp to 0.6%. This compares with the worst hit economies of Angola (where growth is nearly 8pp lower at -2%), Iraq (GDP slows to -1.6% from 4.5% growth), Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan (growth falls to -0.9% from 5.8%).
