The best thing I've ever eaten was at a restaurant in South Beach, Miami, called Big Pink. It's a retro local place, often lost among the copious
tourist traps. It was a sesame-crusted seared ahi tuna steak on brioche with microgreens. It came with two sauces, a wasabi mayonnaise and a soy
glaze. It was just perfect in every way.
There is a small franchise in Pittsburgh called Burgatory, where I had a dry-aged wagyu beef patty, absolutely amazing.
Down here in Austin, I had a fois-gras piece of nigiri with candied quinoa. It was divine. That was at high-end sushi restaurant Uchi.
Thanks for this, now I'm hungry.
