Heard of the "Cat circle"phenomena?

I'm just curious. Are there any videos of cats being drawn to a circle or just "after" photos?

A photo of a cat sitting inside a circle is not compelling evidence.

I'd feel safer picking up a stray dog or cat than a stray person any day. I hear ya. Anyway if you can the male genitals are pretty easy to spot and the female looks ...well female is all I can say.

here's my theory. cats just try to sit on or partially on or near things to try to take ownership of it. a way of saying "this is mine now. maybe when i get bored of it you can have it back." my cat does it all the time, with books, the tv remote, cell phone or anything she thinks is important to me in some way... when you take the time to place the "circle", the cat sees that it is something you have paid attention to, so they want it, for a while at least. or they may enter the room and notice it as something new that wasnt there before, so they want to check it out and "take over" the new thing for a while, just to show that they can
