Dark, my friend, very dark doings indeed! Well written. And the Denver Airport, the scene of my last apocalypse/pandemic, seems so fitting for multiple uses of mayhem. But the darkness in Baxter, the casualness with which he eliminated entire families - does that truly bode well for the world? Makes me go, hmmmm.... I'd like to see years down the road - has he created something good - erasing the mistakes of the past and starting over, or has the power given to him now that all the power brokers are gone infected his ego?

The Military deals with causality lists and such like all of the time. But yes, it does seem a bit cold, on the other hand ..... what else is there to do.

I guess the real question would be, how long can those in charge of the bunkers keep their command positions or do we quickly go back to a system of a whole lot of little war lords.

Would they honor the constitution or would it go out the window.

I don't know. Perhaps the Survivalists would be the luck ones, living in the woods with not much to worry about.
