Scarcity of money is not their problem. Pentagon costs, taken together with other known national security expenses for 2015, will exceed $1 Trillion. How can that be? The trade press is full of statements about the Pentagon's $495.6 billion budget and how low that is.

So with a trillion dollar budget, how much of the idea of national security is really just intelligent advertising by big government contractors such as Beoing, or another contractors who get billion dollar contracts fighting this war on terrorism?

How much of that money ends up back in the hands of the media?

There are quite a few profiting off Homeland Security. Look at all the people writing the software and the computer and surveillance equipment. Look at all the weapon and ammo manufacturers. They get more for their products when there is a shortage.

It's far bigger than just the usual government contractors. I bet the campaign contributions are doing well.

To answer you question all you have to do is look at the NSA, is nothing but a bastardized agency of the government run by contractors, but with all the power granted by the office of the president.

Is a combination of mainly spying of citizens while data mining gathering for the private interest sector.
