Why Does the Word 'Window' get blanked out in my posts???

This is the third time I've had this happen to me (thought the glitch was on my end) and I've seen it in other people's posts too; the word window is replaced by a _.

"Almost immediately after an Ebola patient walks into a 'modern western hospital', that notion you have of stability goes out the _ People will not come to work, and now you haven't got a hospital anymore. If allowed to get any tiny bit out of control, it's over and it will flash across the planet."

Like so... something to do with Bill Gates??

Could it be a formatting thing that doesn't apply to the Board Business forum? (grasping at technical straws here, the only way I know how)

The quote of that post includes a _ and now the word window. Is your edit window still open? If so edit that part to window and see what happens. Might have been some sort of glitch - either on our side or you could have had a spellcheck disaster of some sort - or something similar.

It has happened to me a few times and I have had to use a different word.

ETA When I type out the reply it's there but when I post it vanishes.

How odd. Don't think it's a spellcheck thing. I have seen that word 'window' replaced with a _ in one other person's posts.

It's because you put the word "window" at the end of the sentence, and therefore followed it with a full stop.
Window will display
Window. will not display.

This is an old issue. The last time glitchs were being discussed, it seemed to have been cured, but it must have come back.
