I read once that to be one you have to kill one. I just asked one myself and after much study I sent my application in and should begin initiation in January.

GREAT! Congratulations! Perhaps you might send me an email with the name of your Lodge. I might recommend staying away from the sites that have "the secrets" of the Craft. They only do that to discourage and it will make more of an impact on you (and it should) if you come to it with a fresh outlook.
