Question about chat

Following on from this rant thread : www.abovetopsecret.com...

I have noticed this which seems quite peculiar :

I have seen something extremely strange when trying to log onto chat over here in France.

Now Chat is asking for my pseudonym and password???? (AND IN FRENCH TOO???)... has chat been hacked?

This has never happened before... normally you get straight into chat?

Is this normal moderation staff????

I haven't been to the chat for a while, but I don't remember ever seeing that either. Strange. It says unknown error.

A bit dodgy looking to me especially that it is in French?

When there is a problem with chat, usually on the server side, that happens. It means chat is down.

Very slow and when it did pop up it required my pseudonym and password too. That is where I quit. I do not understand why it would need such info since I am already logged into ATS.

This was my first attempt to go to chat, out of curiosity to see what it was.
