ISIS chiefs have reportedly given British women prominent roles in the ultra-religious all female militia because they see them as the most committed of the foreign female fighters
Thousands of Iraqi women have already been forced into sex slavery at the brothels , with as many as 3,000 women and girls been taken captive from the Yazidi tribe in Iraq over the course of the militants’ offensive across the region, according to the daily.
A key figure among the female police force is Aqsa Mahmood, 20, of Glasgow. At least three other British females have been identified as members of the group, the Mirror reported.
‘Al-Khanssaa is a Sharia law police brigade. This is ISIS‘ female law enforcement,” Melanie Smith, a research associate at King's College's International Centre for the Study of Radicalization, told The Sunday Telegraph. 'We think it’s a mixture of British and French women but its social media accounts are run by the British and they are written in English.”
The U.N. officials’ statement cited evidence of rape being used as weapons of war against women and teenage boys and girls belonging to the Yazidi, Christian, Turkomen and Shabak communities in Iraq.
I've been saying this for months pal.
A lot of people's stance is "not one more of our brothers and sisters should lay down their lives in Middle East"...
I partly agree with this, but I'd also rather have the word of a troop saying this.
Most troops localised on ATS have stated the same as me, special forces were bred to deal with insurgents like IS.
& I'm sure they'd take great pleasure in defending the globe against such an ideology!
Add to that the fact they're being denied their right to be a hero in this situation, something that is also bred within them!
I'd be surprised if boots aren't on the ground before December!
There's only so much they can do without support from Big Army. They can disrupt, but not destroy.
There are already boots on the ground.
You don't see yourselves as heroes because you are humble and feel you're just doing your duty...
In a perfect world that duty wouldn't be necessary so the bravery involved makes you heroes!
But yes humbleness is the greatest human trait!

Border security is NOT something you want to use the regular Army for.
We train for war, not policing.
