First Off, I checked with the Search Function and did not find a current thread, If I'm Mistaken,,,,MODS, Please Do Your Duty!
This is a Short But Sweet little diddy from our Lady The Is A Want To Be Prez!
Yes, Folks, Mrs,,, Slickwilly,,,Clinton as come out to collect a paycheck for Flapping her Gums.

It just amazes me what she can say and people will Applaud and agree,,,, Like Cattle,,,, Brainless, Luckily, Honey Boo Boo got Cancelled so maybe, just maybe some of these folks can get an education!

Yes, The Title is Exactly the words she used and you can watch the video, if you think I'm Lying!

HILLARY CLINTON: Don't let anybody tell you that its corporations and businesses that create jobs. You know that old theory, trickle-down economics. That has been tried, that has failed. It has failed rather spectacularly. One of the things my husband says when people ask him what he brought to Washington, he says I brought arithmetic.

She can't really believe that's all Slickwilly brought to the White House

Yes, Hillary was broke so she was out collecting her speech checks.

The biggest employer in the United States are small business, not corporations.

Small businesses employ WAY more people, and treat them way, way better.

Small businesses and their founders create ideas and products, they then grow and eventually get bought out or invested by corporations. The corporations might provide funds to afford new employees. But nothing happens without the person with the ideas. Sometimes getting those ideas involves working for someone else first; university or college to get qualifications or just life experience, the armed forces or another corporation. Then they see something critical that needs to be done but isn't a priority and has been "put on the back burner". Then they leave and set up their own company.

And she said

Don't let anybody tell you that its corporations and businesses that create jobs.

If they don't, how do they expand and grow?

Consumers create jobs not the wealthy.

People buying tv's computer's and cell phones, tax breaks create nothing but more inequality.

Reaganomics/Trickle-down economics/Supply-side economics is a joke. Unfortunately, the Clintons are neoliberals just like Reagan, the Bushes and Obama so it doesn't make that much difference in the grand scheme of things. She's not nearly as left-wing is you'd like to believe she is.

As for your Honey Boo-Boo comment. I'd be willing to bet that the Honey Boo-Boo crowd votes for the GOP down the line just like the Duck Dynasty crowd. Basically, poor dumb hillbilly's who think they've actually got a chance of being rich some day and spend what spare cash they have on scratch off lottery tickets.

And they still can't add 1+1

It's mathematics that count, not arithmetic.

Of course she's right, everyone knows jobs grow on trees.

Many people don't need to work at all, welfare is good for the economy, people can stay home and become artists and poets.

All we really need is liberal utopia, no one will ever need a job, so we can save the trees.

Yet the democrat platform kills small business. Besides she seemed to say any business. Reread the quote. She wants everyone to be employed by the government like any good commie does.

She's right, because a corporation will only grow until they can sustain their workforce while increasing profits.

If they can automate to remove the labor costs, they will. If they can cut wages to increase profitability, they will.

Small business owners do not act this way. They actually value everybody who works below them.

Government doesn't create jobs either. Consumers sure do, with demand as long as that business is able to supply that demand.

Sort of weird hearing it come from her mouth though..

Must be an election coming up eh?

....U wot m8?

It's funny that Hillary is talking about corporations not creating jobs when corporations are the reason she got her past and (likely) future job. I guess all those big corporations are actually run by only one employee, everyone else is just volunteering.

OK, I can understand that to an extent, it takes some wealth to start a company to buy the tech and supplies to have the parts for the people you hire and Pay to build the item the consumer is going to buy,,, right?

I mean, my husband and I are doing well being retired and all, but we could not start a company to build gokarts and hire and pay people to build them so we could sell them, we aren't Wealthy or have that kind of disposable income to invest or to use in a start up.
We can plan for a future trip or vacation to our Condo in China, but we couldn't pay someone's salary.

So,, I do think the Wealthy or the a group of Investors, get together and invest in an individual who has the knowledge to get the company up and running with a item that the Consumer is willing to pay for.
But still, the wealthy or the Investors are investing to pay the Wages of the Employee that produces the item,,,, Hopefully, The Consumer Wants!

Am I wrong?

Consumers drive growth and create jobs!!!! People that go out and buy things, not the people that save the money to make interest or the ones that ship it over seas into offshore banking accounts!!

You do understand that majority of Americans can't afford a round trip to anywhere much less owning a second home?? I have had multiple relative retire wealthy only to be broke within 5 years because of medical costs, hopefully you and your don't experience this but it highly likely you will.

I do think your way out of touch with reality

Tax breaks for the rich doesn't create anything but interests for them, money in the pockets of the rest of us will spur growth for everyone and would create jobs.

Honey boo-boo was cancelled.
Yes.
I thought I felt a disturbance in the force.
Ah, yes.
I can feel the IQ of the nation increasing.
Wait, ebola doctor goes bowling.... Now we're back.
I resisted the urge to get online and design an "Ebowla Lanes" bowling shirt.

As for Hillary,
Don't think she's not smart.
She knows how business works.
She's fundamentally socialist, big government, anti-middle class and super elitist.
But she's also pretty smart.
Too many people believe our politicians are stupid.
Some are but most are intelligent ,greedy and crooked.

well considering that she was on the board of walmart, one of the biggest employers in the U.S. which at last count employed 1.4 million people in the U.S.,and 2.1 world wide. with more trying everyday to get a job with them. i wonder how she can say that.

she severed on the board and only had a salary of $18,000, and got a $1500 for every quaterly meeting she attended.
but i doubt that she was there for the money they paid her, i kinda think it was for the contacts.

she claims she wasn't involved in trying to keep unions out, other board members say she was right there with them.
there are video tapes of the board meetings where she sat completely silent when they discussed unions, you would at least think that if she cared about people and their jobs she would have said something one way or the other.

I stared you because you and I always get along,,,,, Thank You for caring, But as far as Medical bills go, No,, Fortunately we don't have to worry about Obamacare or any of that, No, not retire Military, retire FLEO, BC BS Federal.
Plus we can go to China and there I'm a Practicing Physician and Herbalist / Acupuncturist at Hospital No.31, Youzheng Jie, Nangang District.
I understand what you're saying though, with the new health care and the unknowns in premium costs from year to year and deductibles, What A Nightmare for America!
What a Nightmare for anyone thinking of their Future!

But that's Off Topic,,, again MODS Please Be Forgiving,,,,,,

It was the old healthcare system that did em in not the aca. But people that go and spend money that spur job growth.

If they don't, how do they expand and grow?

By crying our record profits aren't enough so they move their operations overseas?

From the trickle down viewpoint she is right corporations aren't creating jobs. The number of unemployed easily points this out.
