Members of slain Michael Brown decided to sell some Tee-Shirts and other "merchandise" the other day.

Other Brown Family members had a problem with that.

Something about Patents apparently was the dispute.

A fight followed.

Maybe the family needs a business agency?

Over the weekend, members of the Brown family engaged in a violent street brawl over the selling of Mike Brown tee shirts and other merchandise.

Saturday night, October 18th in the parking lot of Red’s BBQ just blocks from where Michael Brown was shot and killed, Brown`s Grandmother, Pearlie Gordon, along with Brown`s Cousin Tony Petty were selling t-shirts and other Michael Brown merchandise.

Apparently that didn't sit well with other members of the Brown family. According to police, a car pulled up with several people in it, allegedly including Brown's mother Lesley McSpadden. A witness described McSpadden yelling ‘You can`t sell this s%$&”, where upon of the relatives who was selling, reportedly demanded McSpadden show a document proving she had a patent.

I think the genius meant a trademark.

They should call the Martin family to learn how to capitalize on the death of their family member, Michael Brown, in the most effective ways possible, leaving no avenue unexplored in the attempt to generate the largest amount of profit possible.

Effing sickos.

How disgusting!

If I was his mother and found out other family members were trying to profit off of my son's death.....there are no words to describe what I might do.

sick...just sick and opportunistic.

If I read the article correctly, the mother wasn't the one trying to sell the stuff, it was other family members.

The mother was the one that showed up angry that other family members were trying to make a profit.

It usually helps to read the links or posted articles before replying. But, yeah the mother was probably just having a crack attack according to you.

For anyone to commercialise on the death of a family member is, . . . well it is sad.

Par for the course.

The culture is all about the easy payday whether that be through litigation or other less-savory means.

Step 1: Steal Cigars

Step 2: Resist arrest and get shot.

Step 3: Sell T-shirts

Step 4: Profit.

Wow, I'm gonna pass this on to the Underpants Gnomes.

It's beyond understanding to me.

I've lost many family members in my lifetime and I've never once thought about how I was going to profit off of it.

My thoughts were mostly consumed with how I was going to get through the next day knowing that were not with me anymore.

I really don't understand how some people in this world operate.

That's what I was thinking. The loss of a child would be devastating.

what i'm waiting for now, is the mother and her side to claim that the police are hassling them because they defended ol big mike's memory.

wanna bet that's what they do.

Ya never know.

Maybe the entire episode was some kind of set-up?

Perhaps somebody is "advising" the family for a specific purpose.
