Amazing looking solar flares Erupting 7 decent flares in last 96hrs

When is this Sun spot goin to produce some vacation time jeez...

I wonder if the earlier events will condition the space between the sun and the earth as mentioned here:

That is about CMEs.
There were no significant CMEs associate with the flares.

Or if one occurs subsequently will the prior activity produce a 'charged' CME?



I think the last part about prior eruption indicating that yes, a CME is first needed.

Since the paper is about an enhancement of the energy of CMEs by CMEs encountering other, slower CMEs, I would say yes.

Since a flare is a burst of electromagnetic radiation which travels far faster than any CME, I would say yes.

Once again a damn X flare and no CME could it be building up potentially for a bigger event in the "Non ED Dames" type of way??? What says you Phage??
