It's still way down though. It was $3.40-$3.50 early last month. I'm not complaining at all.

gas is still dropping here, was 2.90 before the election, now it's 2.75, where i normally fill up.
i was on the other side of town and saw a store where it was 2.71.

on the news the other night they showed a place in Texas gas was down to 2.26, i can't wait for it to be that here.

Ok today is the day I have to admit I was wrong, THIS TIME. Gas prices are still pretty low compared to what they were and it is now thanksgiving day when I predicted they would be back up to the prices that they were at.

If it makes you feel any better the prices will rise again in the spring. They might start rising again soon but I don't think they'll go much lower.

I could be wrong too, I just looked at the trend. Every steep drop resulted in a steady rise about six months later.
