Local church leaders are upset about the York Dungeons, "Satan's Grotto". They are claiming it will expose children to evil and that real evil
exists and can seriously damage those who encounter it.

Church leaders in York say the Christmas display at one of the city's tourist attractions could expose children to "evil forces".
"We've written to the attraction saying we would prefer if it they did not do it," said the Reverend Roger Simpson.
As well as meeting the alternative Santa, visitors to the grotto are handed "gifts" such as severed fingers, and can write on a scroll to sign their
souls away.
A spokesman for York Dungeon said the alternative grotto had been running for many years.
He added: "There are many people who are tired and weary of the commercial aspect of Christmas and for those people our attraction comes as a light
relief.

I personally feel that this is just a bit of light humour for Christmas intended to liven up the "dungeon experience". With dungeons being sombre
places, I do not feel a "normal" Santa would be appropriate.
Is this something to be concerned about, or should it be considered how it was meant, a bit of fun?
