You know a member here who once had an exclusive on ATS once said that after heading the church of satin than going on to form the church of set, got bored one day and decided to join the Rosicrucians. Needless to say, he wasn't very welcome.

It would be a shame if such a Mind War you speak of was played on us.

Project camelot is a site with countless interviews with ex govt agents, ufo researchers, abductees, black project participants, etc..

They have some garbage mixed in with the really awesome legitimate interviews they present.

They are simply the messengers. To say all of project camelot is a hoax is the same as saying all of youtube is a hoax simply because someone uploaded some garbage..

Check out the site and decide for yourself, dont let anyone else decide for you...

New interesting cases are becoming very rare, most we see today is repeat of old cases.
With the amount of old stories full of details, you should think it would continue the trend, but it doesn't.

It's pretty much cut down to Youtube videos or poorly told stories with lack of witnesses.

It's still an interesting topic, but the topic lacks fresh meat.

This "tonality" witnessed here is happening within the broader UFO community at large. The overwhelming firehose of hoaxed, misinterpreted, and outright misrepresented videos of "UFO's" coming from YouTube, combined with a few sites dedicated exclusively to creating UFO hoaxes, has created an atmosphere of irritation and extreme distrust.

This seemed to start with the worldwide Alien/UFO hoax of Project Serpo (initiated by the people now with Project Camelot). That was the turning point of attitude in UFO-related topics.

I starred that because it definitely spoke my mind. The ATS community also made an impact--for me at least--in that some really great minds have gathered and searched hard and brought about some truly in-depth discussion without regard for book sales or speaking engagements.

OP - At that level of research, it becomes impossible for me to give a Stanton or Greer or Pope much legitimacy. Stanton, for example, has routinely left out the high-strangeness aspects of some of the cases he's reported. Therefore, I find him lacking as a researcher or authority of any sort.

SO - That part about Project Camelot though--nitwits that they seem to be--were actually, apparently, brought into the scheme rather than being the generators of the hoax itself. Does that means Kit Green is with Project Camelot now?

Excuse me,(taps the OP on the shoulder). I have some proof. its in this book by Dr. Harley Rutledge called Project Identification. He took his findings to a group of scientists for a convention and NO BODY LAUGHED AT HIM. He studied the UFO phenomenon in Missouri that was quite active at that time, he did all the triangulations and measured the speed of the craft accurately, and brought all the evidence and photos for all to see. Though his book is not wonderful reading for the average layperson, the info contained is beyond doubt. Too bad he is no longer with us.

Thats not really fair. I've seen an "unknown" and had another experience that to this day baffle me. I come here because i am looking for others experience similar to my own.

The Meta bunk to few unknowns ratio is high, however. Just like in the real world.

I am glad people bring it, I am also glad to discern the truth. This is ATS. There are lots of qualified specialists in the field of observation, photography, software and its manipulation by hoaxers. If you want your beliefs tested go to church. If you want evidence of Extraterrestrials tested, bring it here. Just be prepared to go where ever that leads…

Now go find another one.

If only 2% of all sightings are unexplainable and out of that 2% is an even smaller percentage that really might be interesting then you have to realize that almost all sightings posted here can and probably will be explained away.

Thats not a conspiracy it called investigation.

It's real simple...prove it.

Pretty much everyone has a camera now days..yet no valid proof of anything has shown itself.

People come and talk about.."wow I just saw a UFO..and it did this and that with capabilities beyond ours"...well, where is the footage of these amazing maneuvers?

The only ones I ever see are distant lights in the sky which could be anything, or stationary object which the videographer never seems to bother to stay around to film the craft leaving. People say they have seen aliens...where is that footage?

Even homeless people have phones...you financial situation doesn't matter..the majority of the planet has access to a cell phone with video capabilities.

Why with everything that everyone in the world has access to..has not one viable piece of evidence ever come forth?

No one should be attacking the messenger, that is the quickest way to shut down a social networking site, which is actually what ATS is (it just happens to be targeted at a specific audience). I don't think anyone should be derailing threads by demanding evidence or better evidence on something a poster did not claim to have empirical evidence for. That said, I also do not think posters should be permitted to state they have PROOF or ABSOLUTE EVIDENCE and not expect to be attacked, scrutinized, and generally fed to the wolves. If they make the claim they have the absolute proof or some sort of solid evidence and that is what the topic of their post is, they should expect to be attacked by wolves. If any scientist made such claims you can bet their peers would tear into them and their evidence!

Allowing people to make claims like that to go unchallenged gives us all a bad reputation. Ultimately, I think it all hinges on what claim is being made in the thread title and in the original post, as to whether or not the thread can be judged as derailed.

See my post on the first page in regards to the futile, laughable exercise that is demanding hard proof of UFOs or aliens.

Yeah, that's a good one. Some other scientific studies come to mind as well. Here's a great thread from ATS member easynow that details some fascinating information that few seem to know about. The findings dovetail rather nicely with the findings of Project Identification.

I'm not convinced they weren't involved. Even after the hoax was being soundly exposed, they were standing firm that Serpo was real.

Just last year, the founder of Project Camelot was still promoting that the core aspects of Serpo were true.

I personally could not care less if Project Serpo was real or fake. All I know is it makes for an awesome sci-fi read. I remember reading it at work to pass the time back like 7 years ago, awesome alien action.

Its like the continuation of the movie close encounters after the humans boarded the alien ship. Me likes it.

Thank You for being forward and open enough to post this. I have seen so many attempts to either derail or make the poster seem a lunatic! I don't post very much in the forum for those reasons. I don't think I need to waste the time and effort to fight with a Troll.
Thanx again and Star and Flag to You!! Syx.

Yes, but it's also quite easy to forget that your phone has a camera and let's be fair, if it's something way off in this distance, the quality could be interpreted, that fake is called immediately.

People run it through filters and the like and whilst I am sure it works for some shots, I don't think it necessarily works for all.

The problem with phone cameras is that lights in the sky will appear as simply lights in the sky. Unless you walk around with a half decent camera and have time to adjust the aperture to gain a crystal clear photo, People will not even contemplate it being genuine.

videographer

I literally laugh out loud every time that happens...THERE MAY NEVER BE ANY CONCRETE TESTABLE PROOF OF ALIEN OR UFO ENCOUNTERS...yet people still will come to your thread and ask for hard proof, and hard evidence.

Its simply laughable.

So basically the belief that UFO's are alien in nature is a matter of faith.

Throughout the years nothing has even come close to being proven to be of extraterrestrial nature.

You would think someone, somewhere would have it, but nothing..why is that?

I believe there UFO's out there in words only...something unidentified in the air that no one at that time could make it out due to being mistaken, wishful thinking..etc.

The ancient aliens garbage also is laughable....aliens were there to help ancient man then one day said...forget it.

Never left anything behind to say..it was us....or that we helped..etc. People say..well they did this and with our machines today we would not be able to do this....really...do they forget it was a different time and tools and methods were used that have been forgotten about...that we as a species today would not survive back in those days.

Why the alien not out in the open like they were supposedly back in the past...why go into hiding all of a sudden?

Maybe because we finally understand myths and fantasies were common amongst out past people.

You choose to believe based of faith...me and a few others need more than faith. If you don't like the questions being asked..then maybe stop posting in hopes of everyone blindly believing.
