Something's gotta change in the world

So for the past two years I've felt pent up and I need to express it some way. There is a status quo that is not changing with America. It started with the first iPod Touch I think. Remember they came out before the iPhone. That was about the time America went to # and stagnation. 2006?
Something's gotta change. I'm not doing all too bad, I have a good family, some good friends, and I eat good every night and get a good night's rest. But Good God. Something's gotta change in the world. I reel every day over and over, what great thing will happen to change the world, will it happen today, what am I going to do until it does, what am i going to do after it does, when am i going to get laid. All these questions and more pour though my mind everyday and it comes to one simple thought. Something's gotta change in the world. I'm really not hoping ti will end up being a world war with russia that changes the world, i'm also dreading that it could be a virus like ebola that changes the world. I'm hoping it's going to be some sort of technology. But that won't change anything. Something's gotta change in the world.

even if there is some god send amazing technological breakthough i think i've lost my faith that it will be distributed to the masses fast enough or well that it would be distributed at all. If we invented fusion reactors and energy was free, it would still cost something. If we invented teleportation and we could move anything anywhere, we'd still charge to lift a finger. If we invented a massive food supply we'd still charge for kelloggs. No invention will fix the world. No war will fix the world.

Aliens. if we met aliens, and on that I end this rant.

Look at the 4 blood moons they happened and something changes for expample when the jewish kicked them out of spain and how they got isreal?! The four blood moons that are happening now its the end of this time and a new age its coming! What i discovered was in the zodiac calender theres a fish and then the cycle starts again and if we gather all this information something is about to change to world and we need to wake up i joined this ATS to sshow people first that my theory i have menas alot and think im not crazy!!!

Moons aren't enough to change what nneds to be changed. Imagine a check in the mail for $10,000 a week. That for everyone.

Pride must be overcome before change can be enacted. National pride in particular, this perception that we are all different because of where we live and what language we speak despite us all being human is what is causing much of the problems. The pride in the US is the belief that people with loads of money are in some way superior to the rest of the population because they can get and do things other people cannot. A person bound to a wheel chair cannot run nor walk, does that make them any less human? Such a contradictory society we live in.

If pride can be supplanted with humility, perhaps then we can all hold hands and move forward as a planet, as a human race.

Don't worry about the future but strive to change what you wish to.
What will be,will be-and what will not,will not.
The individual is not responsible for the future,but that individual may be able to alter it in some way if they wish.

The game of existence in the middle of the vastness of space is where we live.
We are lucky to experience it,on planet Earth as we call it.
Roll the cosmic dice,and we have all won the prize.

Its wonderful yet can also be horrific at the same time.

The universe's bugs who have got a bit too inquisitive for our own good,like the termites who decide to build in someone else's garden..

Technology will not save you other than gps and laser printing what great new technologies are there, look around your house there might be and LCD tv or a smartphone but they are just developments of technologies that allready exist there is nothing there that wasnt there 20 years ago,your not getting a flying car,forget about that fusion reactor there is no way your getting that,and as for getting laid theres always continuous credit.

What exactly is wrong with the world, that you feel must change?

You said you have decent life, family... you eat each night... apparently getting laid is a problem, but that is not a problem with the world today, it is yours specifically.

It sounds as if you are just bored? That your life is secure and comfortable, which is -perhaps- more hell than heaven..?

That would sure explain the growing doom porn and "end of world" focus- humanity has been successful at making it's life easier, and found easy is boring!

I do believe that any particular individual has the ability to unlock it. Most don't want to accept that responsibility tho, so the unfulfilled aspect of self judgement is projected externally, and people 'think' they're waiting for something external to occur so the world will change for the better. Waiting for someone else to make it better.

In my opinion, it just doesn't work that way. If there's something distasteful about the world in your eyes, ask yourself what's behind those eyes. Anything external that you deem "wrong" is a reflection of your own internal 'wrong-ness'.
