About as reliable as The Onion as "America's trusted news source".

Did I say anything about the physical appearance of republican women? No, I did not. But you did make a comment about democrat women.....how sad.

You said something about the physical appearance of republican men. Does that make you any better?

That shows how shallow an ideology can stoop to make a point.

I'll show no democrat any quarter. They will get no respect from me.

And so you result to attacking the appearances of women to make a backhanded jab at the democrat party?

You attacked republican appearance FIRST! wtf.

And yeah. I did. Proud of it. And its not really backhanded. It gets right to the point of how liberalism takes away our humanness and turns us into something we're not. For example- women turning into more like men. If that's equality, I don't want it. If there were less butches in the world, the world would be a better place.

I'd give you a star for the humor, but would have to take it back for the ignorance.

I'll take away a star the hypocrisy. And another one for the lack of thinking before posting.

Wait...
Are you referring to the Janet Reno's Party Comment?
Since we were all bashing and making fun of the party affiliates.
I hold no joy to any party..and that includes the ( Green )Tea party.

That was me.
And it was an ode to Will Farrell's old sketch on SNL.

I was trying to lighten the mood..
I am sorry if anyone took offense to it.
If anyone should be taking heat.. I think it should be me..
Or did I miss something entirely?

On this post I read that women should not fear, the republican men will protect you..
It gave me a chuckle because I saw it as a lite hearted joke..
At my expense... as a man more or less.. not as a Dem/Rep....

I did read up on Janet Reno..
Aside from Waco..
Her tactics while serving in Florida.. well are scary.. if the stories are true from Wikipedia.
Dare I say Dick Cheney scary..

But again I apologise if I offended anyone for my ignorance paying tribute to Will Farrell.

Am I the only ATS member to notice the complete silence of resident "ObamaBots" recently in Madness Forum?

Well, it is for the up-coming election and Obama's losing-streak on policy?
Yes.
Even MSNBC is reporting facts:

She was on Morning Joe today. She's the founder and former editor of The Daily Beast and Newsweek, and founder of Tina Brown Live. They were having a discussion about recent polls that showed the Democrats are struggling with women in the 2014 midterm races. And we've mentioned this, that this so-called War on Women is actually coming back to bite the Democrats in a lot of ways, but this sound bite -- well, just hear it on your own. I don't even want to characterize it before you hear it. She was talking to the cohostette, Mika Brzezinski, who said, "Tina, what do you think is behind these numbers, the Democrats losing women?"

BROWN: Particularly for women, I don't think he makes them feel safe. They're feeling unsafe. They feel unsafe economically. They're feeling unsafe with regard to ISIS. They're feeling unsafe about Ebola. What they feel unsafe about is the government response to different crises. And I think that they're beginning to feel a bit that Obama's like that guy in the corner office who's too cool for school, calls a meeting, says this has to change, doesn't put anything in place to make sure it does change. Then it goes wrong, and he's blaming everybody.

Rush Limbaugh Website

We told you so!

Wait, you didn't quote and link Rush Limbaugh did you? LOL Obama may not be a good president, but Limbaugh is a lunatic. There's a big difference. Wow.

This wasn't just on Limbaugh. I heard it all over talk radio, the actual clip of her saying this. And she is a Democrat operative/defender. It was also in print news on lots of web sites.

Before you ridicule, check and see if it is on other "reputable" sites. Like I think you think MSNBC is, after all that is where it originally aired.

Just saying that Limbaugh is absolutely crazy and unhinged. It's like quoting Charles Manson or something.

This is how I feel when people post Jon Stewart and herald him as some political genius. His head isn't in the sand, it's up the government's behind like his brother's. They're entertainers, tools who will say/do whatever earns them more money and exposure.

Yeah, Obama has made me so safe that my job quit on my and forced me to spend half my time at home instead of working. That's done wonders for my family's economic security!

Thanks, Obama

My father was a Chief Senior Physician Assistant in a hospital for like 20 years. Also was the only member who knew how to perform capsule studies (a camera/monitor a patient swallows to check up on the digestive tract). They canned him with the rest of the good workers, kept the inefficient, shiftless ones and the hospital is wondering why patient satisfaction is near zero. Their reason for "laying people off" was Obamacare. And they were so proud to tell people they have to cut people in order to afford a "revolutionary, miracle form of healthcare".

Thanks Obama. You know how to take care of foreigners but as for Americans, if they're not the chosen people they can go to hell.

Once again, out of all the things we could blast Obama over, we have to make up some silly statement like "Obama makes women feel unsafe".

What?

That entire notion is predicated on the idea that women are weak, fragile little creatures that cower at the slightest bit of instability or trouble. Which is not true whatsoever.

This says more about the people making the statement, than it does women's support for Obama.

Why can't we talk policy instead of stupid # like this?

This is what the whole War on Women was predicated on. It's the government view of women, that we are weak, helpless, can't survive without big daddy gov there to help us get through life.

Did you miss The Life of Julia?

Couple that with Lena Dunham comparing voting with losing her virginity to Barack Obama.

And the whole idea that if we didn't pay for everyone's birth control, it was tantamount to putting women back to being barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen because, you know, birth control is SOOoooOOOOoooo hideously expensive and difficult to get and all that it must become a human right and it's discriminatory to not provide it free for everyone ... or something.

Seriously, how stupid do they think we women are?

Actually there is research on the topic of women voters that shows a woman who is married is increasingly more likely to vote conservative than one who isn't married at all. So it depends on what you mean by "women voters." If you're talking about the single female vote, she's more likely to be dependent on government or feel it's a fall back. If you're talking about the married vote, she's more like to value traditional things and the money she and her spouse make that the government works so hard to take away for the single woman.

This is why the ad is the Life of Julia and not the Life of June (Cleaver).

Same as I feel about MSNBC and CNN, actually many people I know call CNN the Clinton News Network because it is so tightly controlled by liberals, like MSNBC.

Agreed. And while MSNBC and huffpost are very left leaning and Wall street journal and Fox News are very right leaning. They effectively cancel each other out. However, there is a big difference between being a conservative or a liberal and being a stark raving lunatic. Rush Limbaugh is a stark raving lunatic. John Stewart is a comedian. Big difference. John Stewart doesn't need to be locked up. Rush does. That isn't me hating on a conservative. The man is a lunatic. Let's take someone like Jeb Bush, He's a republican and a conservative. I don't think he's insane. Let's Take Megyn Kelly --totally a conservative. I disagree with most of what she says but again, that's just a disagreement, She's not insane. See what I'm saying? Rush is way past the line. He is a lunatic.

Buckle Up I am going there

Mods I need some room here on this

What I think the woman was saying is this..
Obama's administration does not generate the security feeling or project alpha male qualities

Lets go a step further and poll the women here

Ladies
1)does the obama administration make you feel secure at this moment?

2) do you feel Obama is a real man? (please leave out the jokes cause it is meant in the sense of a figuratively real man.)

a) Would he drink a beer or sip tea with his pinky out
b) Would he split logs for the fire at a cabin by himself
c)could he fix your car

That type of real man

3)loyal or disloyal (a cheater or not a cheater that tis the question)

By these answer we can first ascertain if the polls mentioned are close to reality
then we can continue the conversations..
