I didn't sense anything hostile from TrueBrit there. There are a number of people with really good typing skills, and they can type a huge number of words per minute. One of my mom's friends can churn out over 300 per minute. She's an old school medical coder & transcriptionist, though, so she has existing typist skills most younger people today don't have.
I don't doubt TB's typing, it's not uncommon.

For the sake of clarity, I must make plain that I did not intend any insult by what I said about your typing speed. All I was saying is that the number of characters I can lay down on a page has nothing to do with the amount of thought which spawns the words. I can finger vomit huge reams of words onto a page, but it does not mean that I am devoting an awful lot of thought in order to generate and type them, especially where subjects relating to my past are concerned.

For sure, the same number of characters being involved in a post about alternative sciences, or my political standpoint on a given topic, those things require thought commensurate with the number of words one might care to say on such subjects, but this is a different matter entirely!
