"we will not give any interviews this time, I have a story to tell..."

Translation: Someone offered us a huge chunk of money for the exclusive rights for our Ebola story. Praise the Lord!

An obvious jesture to keep the family from filing multiple lawsuits.

That is the first time that I listened to the 911 call.

Her written English is much better than her spoken English, eh?

I'm a foreigner, so my English isn't exactly perfect... but I can't understand what was said at all!

I don't think that's Louise on the phone.

I think that is Youngor (?) Jallah, I'm pretty sure Louise was at work that day. Isn't she saying "My Daddy" (which... would actually be her step-father).

I do think I heard "no, my daddy" when he asked her if she was hurting all over.

I was having a bit of trouble understanding what was said.

Yes,....it was the younger, she did say her daddy.

But, generally, IMO.....the children of those from other countries, can usually speak better English than their parents.

I've always wondered if this had something to do with TED being sent home the first time from the hospital. The English of the children is incredibly hard to understand I wonder how his English was? Slightly off topic but you made me think of that.

Good point. Maybe they didn't understand him when he said he had just flown from Liberia, and only got that he was from there. Also, it might've been hard for them to understand what exactly he was saying when describing his symptoms.

Well, assuming he could understand them.

Good point.

Even the 911 operator couldn't understand exactly what was said.

He responded to the call; "you are hurting all over"?

She responded with no my daddy, he's throwing up all over.

I think that's what she said.

Yeah I can see how "flown" and "from" could possibly get jumbled up with that accent. Idk how that dispatcher made out her saying "six".

Aside from the fee's needed for Mr. Duncan's funeral service, everything in the apt was tossed. Distasteful as it is this woman currently has nothing. If someone offered her some cash for her story, and it helps her get back on her feet I really don't think anyone should be pointing fingers?

Mr Duncans treatment cost a LOT of money and its sad that he did not make it ,

The Families Relocation, supervision, Food , Supplies, constant Medical testing, seeming protection from the media and now clear will be Re-housed and relocated ( due to anonymous donors) also all costs a LOT of money

Lots of people have terminally ill family members , but you don't see them all signing book deals

I think they have had enough already
and yes i think its a little morbid to write a book off of the back of a loved one dying

$100 says she already has a publicist and is planning to write a book... hence the "tell my story in my own way at the right time" statement.

You win!! I read an article she is planning to write a book about her ordeal and their 'love story'.

It will be a Lifetime movie for sure.

I don't buy it, not one bit. Not unless I see her standing smiling with all her family at her side.

Something stinks and it isn't something my cat left behind.
