It's obvious you hate Liberals but TYT aren't Liberals pushing a Liberal agenda.

The definitely are.

I mean they definitely push a liberal agenda but at least it's of their own making. They aren't bought and paid for like NBC Fox or CNN. They also tear down Democrats showing far more credibility than any news source I've seen.

You sure it's not 97.6%?

The only thing I agree with you on and the only thing I'll ever agree with you on, apparently, is that the corruption of changing the timer in the program is despicable.

Its still spineless and detached from reality.

How is it detached from reality? They only comment on actual news sourced from credible agencies. They even tell you the source during the report.

How is discussing and reporting news from various sources with no corporate interests spineless? Define spineless for me please.

The word "it" refers to tyt philosophy in general.

How is discussing and reporting news from various sources with no corporate interests spineless?

They report a story and then they put their own liberal spin on it. The liberal part is the spineless part.

Define spineless for me please.

Tolerance. Political correctness. Unable to stand up for what's right even when it hurts, but rather bending over so as not to offend. Vegetarians. Utopian wishful thinking. Too feeble to accept that conflict is unavoidable and too cowardly to face it head on when it finds you. Hippies. Hipsters. That sort of thing. You know, typical liberals.

Lol so spin invalidate news? So you watch zero news then? They give you their source and invite you to look into it yourself and draw your own conclusions.

So tolerance towards others is terrible? Sounds like you want a lawless anarchistic society of the strongest wins.

Utopian wishful thinking? That's the basis of America. That's literally why the country exists. People can't here to try to build utopia. Are you calling our founding fathers spineless? Are you suggesting that trying to improve things is anti American.

Keep talking man. You're a fascinating specimen.

No. They don't. They present a story and then add a bias to how they want you to interpret it and to appeal to those who already interpret it the way they do. For example, if this were a conservative group talking about this, they wouldn't have brought up anything about "fines being like non-progressive taxes".

So tolerance towards others is terrible? Sounds like you want a lawless anarchistic society of the strongest wins.

I want power to be distributed equally to all individuals and to be withdrawn from the government. I want every person given the same opportunity as every other person as long as I don't have to sacrifice my personal ability to make up for someone else's lack of personal ability. I don't want a lawless society. I want a society where the people have the power, not the government, but at the same time have to abide by basic laws. I want to live in a world where people are responsible for themselves and no one else is responsible for them and they aren't responsible for any one else except the children, elderly, and disabled. And yes, I do want a society where the strongest win. Naturally.

Utopian wishful thinking? That's the basis of America.

No. America is supposed to be imaginative and creative, while maintaining practicality and realism. Utopian wishful thinking is a longing for a reality that doesn't correspond to the reality in which we actually live. Such as, socialism.

It is despicable that the people were milked in this way. But it is an equally despicable concept that taxes should be higher for people who make more and lower for people who make less. America is a capitalist nation. Not a socialist one. Capitalism has made our country great. We don't need these socialist policies to destroy our country and weaken our motivation to continue to be great. Greatness should be rewarded with proportional rewards. An ignorant idiot who can't find his/her way out of fast food doesn't deserve to be out of it. That's not how the natural world works. In the real world, the natural one, you get what you put in. The young turks continue to be the voice of idiocy on youtube.

In the "natural world" I would take everything you own and leave you crying in a ditch somewhere. If rules do not keep things somewhat equal, then what incentive is there for people to follow the laws that allow people to stack wealth without fear?

I love how this thread turned into a TYT/liberal bash fest, thanks for that.

Let's all continue to gloss over the whole point of this thread, corruption and theft from American taxpayers.

In the natural world solutions end up being efficient and effective. Otherwise, ecosystems would not balance.

Thus, it would seem smithjustinb and yourself have a common ground if taxes were executed in a way that yielded based on a more voluntary system. The consumption tax would represent a voluntary system insofar as your choice to consume greater amounts equates to a choice to pay taxes for that consumption.

A poor guy will never pay the tax on a yacht. A wealthy guy can choose whether or not to do so by choosing whether or not to purchase it.

That seems efficient and effective. And it shifts the taxes from being collected on the way in and on the way out (you are taxed to earn and to spend) to being only on expense. A mans work should not be taxed.

RE: fines....they should not equate to income in any way. Additionally, they should not be budgeted into the governments annual income. Fines should be thought of as windfalls that are used for the benefit of the populace. Not by providing them more police to have to endure. But things like education, infrastructure, etc.

If your suggesting tax on what you spend rather than your work, I am 100% for it. I could stomach a 25-30% sales tax because it is my choice. But I also believe you should be taxed heavily on what you have not spent by the end of the year. Spending creates jobs, hoarding creates..... well, nothing.

In the African Bush, where humans live in a more primal society of tribes. A man punched his brother in the face. He then cut off his own arm. You know why? Because if he didn't, his brother would have killed him. Primal fear keeps people from doing the wrong thing. People in the African Bush respect each other much more than we "civilized" people do. Rules are unwritten and much more effective.

No. I just think their spin is trash.

Who doesn't put their spin on it?

Everyone. But, some spins, like tyt, are pure trash.

I love how this thread turned into a TYT/liberal bash fest, thanks for that.

Don't thank me. I couldn't care less about your feelings. What? Do you expect that when you present garbage like tyt as a topic for discussion, you're not going to have anyone who strongly disagrees with the content of it and isn't going to be vocal about their disagreement? More wishful thinking.

Let's all continue to gloss over the whole point of this thread, corruption and theft from American taxpayers.

Theft from American taxpayers like that of progressive tax brackets taking unequal percentages from people depending on their income? I think we're still on topic here. The fact is, we get taxed too much as it is. And then, liberals want to make tax brackets and try to equalize the wealth. And on top of that, we got mayor douche bag stealing more money from people through bull snip fines. Its all a bunch of crap.

Yeah whatever dude. I learned what socialism was in my economics class and in my sociology class in college. Since then, I've made it my hobby to research more into it as I developed a stronger ground to stand on as I speak out against it.

We so get it, you waste your time hating one political party/ideal/agenda. If you'll notice TYT wasn't the only source I posted but it's the only one you focused on. Shocking I know. It's okay to have a different point of view, it's clearly welcomed on ATS but to ignore the thread while bashing the political ideas you hate has nothing to do with cities stealing from citizens. This thread is about red light cameras being manipulated to give out false tickets. This thread is not about how much you hate TYT. So you're saying this topic is trash? Is that because TYT did a report on it or that you support corruption and robbery?

Im done repeating myself.
