White owl perched in an old oak tree
A stranger rests on bended knee
Articulating words by sight
My somber dream of life's twilight
Whispering through angelic eyes
Revealing my life's last sunrise
Farewells exchanged, though not so-longs
Entombed in sleep until Sol's dawn
Seasons of sickness take their toll
Frail body drains my agile soul
Reflections of a haunting dream
The time is nigh, I hear deaths scream
Machines shrieking at each other
Withering wails of my mother
Black and silence overpower
Angel gifts to me deaths flower
I'm drenched in overwhelming peace
To know life after deaths release
Spirit says softly "return to earth"
As sparks of life engulf my hearth
Those moments in the cosmic clock
The time spend on deaths spirit walk
A thread embroidered to our source
This life's forever altered course
