This type of response is sooooooo not surprising. It obviously doesn't matter who Obama picked to oversee this issue. The conservatives/Republicans/tea partiers are going to find fault with the choice - whomever it is. If it were a doctor, they would say "why did he choose a doctor? We don't need a doctor - we already have enough doctors with the CDC." If it were a person not involved in politics, they would say, "how is this person going to deal with the politics of the situation, they don't have any experience in politics." It doesn't matter who is chosen because, it's Obama that made the choice. ANY choice is the wrong choice. That's politics for you.

This man is part of the ever-ending revolving door (to steal a coined-phrase from OpenSecrets). Why have a czar? I don't understand -- considering we have an interim Surgeon General -- shouldn't this be their job? Isn't being the "top doc" something? I am sure its all the Republican's fault just like Ebola is all Obama's fault and so goes the merry-go-round....
