if you forget there are other things in life apart from ebola, well there is always boobs!!!

A Moscow based Ad Agency, Sarafan Advertising Agency, recently pulled quite a hilarious, albeit unconventional, marketing stunt by displaying a slightly concealed image of a topless woman on the sides of box trucks. The image shows a woman’s breasts with copy that, when translated, reads in English as “they attract.”

The Sarafan ad campaign caused 571 car accidents as distracted drivers collided with other vehicles, landmarks, and buildings. 30 trucks total had been driving around the Russian Capital of Moscow before police quickly impounded them.

Their intention was to evaluate how much attention people pay to the sides of these trucks and encourage more people to give this kind of advertising a shot.

No pictures here as i once post a sofia vergara pic in a bikini and was called pornography, there is always the link though

Source

Who knew well formed female breast could draw attention from humans

Not me if my wife ask, nope never i wasn't looking nope
don't hurt me

But is not all funny, as all in life sues are in order:

This has led to multiple complaints, and many plan to sue the ad agency for compensation. A spokesman for the Sarafan Advertising Agency that organized the promotion said, “In all cases of accidents, the car owners will receive compensation costs from us that aren’t covered by their insurance.

To be sincere i don't get the fixation with so much silicon, is that in Russia no one has seen a large breasted woman? according to this map they have

As Russia is one of the places in the world with biggest average breast, whats the big deal with a pic, just go to a European beach and you would see more. I see a conspiracy in all this, i bet the ones that crashed had beat up cars and no insurance and saw an opportunity of getting new cars from the ad company

almost hard to believe, i live in the czech republic, and that kind of advertising is everywhere. you should see how they advertise stripclubs on those boards, odd that this causes such a mess over there...maybe with all that cold they are just not used to seeing so much skin on a daily basis

As for them being fake, eh who cares, as long as they are done in proportion to the body type, it's all good.
had this happened in america half the country would be on lockdown
probably get a nice #boobgate out of it for the twitter people.

When I was in Germany they had a billboard of a woman and when it rained her top turned nude and the billboard said "pray for rain" in german haha...I should try to find that and see if that caused any accidents as well.

I guess if there were such a thing as an advertising campaign that was TOO good, this would be it. They attract alright, they attract one car to another.

There was a time when they did that with trucks in Phoenix that seemed to be made for the purpose of driving a billboard around. Not with boobs or anything, but the fact that the ads were so big, so bright with the moving imagery that you now see on stationary billboards, and so........there, it was too much of a visual distraction to the drivers.

When I lived in Las Vegas they had the stripper van. A cube van but the cube part was clear plexiglass/acrylic and had a stripper pole and 3 lovely ladies inside.

Not topless but driving down the strip it was deemed a distraction and banned.

And now the advertising companies are getting sued. I find that ridiculous. It is up to each individual driver to obey the rules of the road, and failure to do so is their fault and their fault alone. They should not have allowed themselves to be distracted by a picture. It is like those people who talk on their phones and drive. Some people can do it while keeping their main attention on driving, while others cannot. Very rarely will I be on the phone when driving, but when I am I am constantly asking "what did you say," because I will be concentrating on the road, treating the conversation as secondary. If one has to talk and drive, that is the way they should do it. Often times I will see people driving exceptionally slow and I will be stuck behind them, and then I see they're on their phone. They cannot even focus enough to maintain their speed, so I'm sure they are making other bad decisions on the road. If I saw a picture while driving, and it caught me off guard, I would not forget the road. If I ever look away from directly in front of my vehicle, it is just a glance. But it also depends on what kind of traffic I'm in. I just don't understand why everyone does not do this. It is not special ability that I have, rather I just pay attention and place importance on being safe while driving. It is very easy.

They were a cracker set - I suspect your idea will no be unique' - bus isn't Russia sitting in the middle of winter, no wonder so many copped a nod at such a beautiful and unexpected sight. Brilliant advertising - now even people abroad are talking about their campaign?

Just seems when it's different more people notice and.... crash.

People aren't used to seeing nearly naked breasts while on a drive. That's what this is about. Yet if we all got used to it, it'd be normal.
