Peeking out to say "hello"

I'm a long-time lurker. I don't feel like cleaning so I'm probably enabling my side that likes to procrastinate right now. Filtering threads is likely the real reason I've registered so I can easily follow the threads I want.

Admittedly, I read some of the other introduction threads to see how these things go. I have no new information to offer in my introduction. In the scale of the world and universe, I don't consider myself a special snowflake. To myself, I totally am.

As far as anything interesting or weird that has happened to me: Sleep paralysis a few times, a couple of doors opening on their own, mysterious footsteps in the snow that led to nowhere and started in a random location (not near a door). The last one I was pretty young so that's likely going to involve some imagination. My dad was big on aliens, ghosts and the JFK assassination as I was growing up so I'm sure I got my interest in such things from him. Not to mention having family dinner while watching Unsolved Mysteries.

Since I've lurked a while, I can say my favorite forum to read is Science & Technology.

Watch out for the horse with wiggly ears named Timely (We're in Halloween avatars at the moment) and NEVER trust Rodinus with the coyote avatar they're out to get me LOL.
