Don't be silly, Valhall.

Everyone knows you cant get Ebola on a plane. You can only give it.

*Shamless Thread Plug to prove the point.*

Well, exactly and it's the gift that keeps on giving! lmao!!

This is how I was thinking, completely and down to the last detail. I thought, nothing to worry about, we have it under control. But obviously we don't when they aren't even taking the correct precautions and they let this woman on a plane with a fever...

Look at the protection they're wearing, compared to what the nurses were probably wearing at Texas Presbyterian:

Amarillo, TX: Ebola Scare Prompts BSA Hospital Lockdown in Texas [Breaking News

BSA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas is on lockdown because a patient entered the facility showing symptoms similar to those of Ebola victims

The only two confirmed cases of Ebola contraction in the United States have happened in Dallas.

The hospital said that a patient entered the emergency room on Wednesday with Ebola-like symptoms, prompting the lockdown.

A spokeswoman told Nexstar Broadcasting that the patient hasn’t traveled outside the country recently but did have contact with someone who has been to one of the three African countries in the heart of the Ebola outbreak.

Yup, that looks like the plane they just flew her on. If you follow the link on a post back a page, there are more pics from different angles. None that show the tail number, though.

I'm sure the CDC is on their way there. Within two days.

UPDATE -- The ER is on lock down. All of the other patients have been isolated to the back of the ER.

The male patient had only contact with a nurse. The nurse is the only person the patient has been in contact with. The nurse continues to care for the patient.

BSA is not treating this as Ebola, until Ebola confirmed. But they are taking precautions.

I'm sure they're being guarded about the tail number now. After my brilliant thread last time. (Ha.)

But it does look like the same plane. I'm going to check the flightaware logs now.

ETA: Nope, doesn't appear to be the same plane (link), but they have several.

It also appears this air ambulance has been to Hawaii. Keep an eye on that.

Could it be one of Mr. Duncan family member?, Mr. Duncan is the only know person that came from an infected country.

This is getting very interesting, I guess the Dallas hospital is not taking patients

Not sure if this is the exact same plane. It looks the same, but all CDC planes may look the same, and they could have many. The plane in this article is supposedly the one that took Nancy Writebol from Africa to Atlanta.

Here's the very frustrating video of her boarding plane. Note that the camera pans around and stops RIGHT before the tail can be seen every time lol

They actually had a pic of the tail of the plane as it rotated off the tarmac. When I saw your question I went back to grab it and it was gone. So, yeah, there was a picture of the tail, but I can't find it now.

Exactly!

The tail number of the plane that flew the first two patients to Emory was N173PA LLC, WILMINGTON, DE . This particular plane just made a trip to Hawaii for the US Navy.

Phoenix Air has a few air ambulances.

My question now is, shouldn't precautions also be taken with passengers who flew on that plane back to Cleveland the next day? Yes, the plane was "cleaned" but not cleaned like is being done now.

Good point and might I ask what about the cleaning crew and their families?
I doubt the cleaning crew knew just what a deathly situation they were involved in.

Regards, Iwinder

Thanks for trying. I'm still hunting for the tail numbers of the other Phoenix Air air ambulances.

By the way, guess who got a $4.9M contract from the Department of State in August?
