Good gravy yall.

I absolutely HATE fear mongering. Hate it. Hate speculating about doom and gloom. Hate spending a SECOND of time thinking of death and spreading rumors of what if this or that - BUT - facts are facts. We're all gonna die.
YAY!!! Live well friends!!!

You might as well be using The Onion as your source.

This is completely fake.

You should take a second to look at some of the other "headlines" from your sources site. LOL

Well i live in central europe and so far, nothing major, we seem to be good, hopefully it will stay that way.
As for the united states...you guys better stock up in canned goods, shotguns and bibles.
Anyway, it's far from "over" it's just that this whole ebola thing is being waaaaaay hyped by the news.
consider the common flue kills tens of thousands of people every year, diabetes has probably killed more people this month alone.
the media, ESPECIALLY the american media loves to breed fear, it's what keeps the economy going.

Pulenty of other viral candidates waiting in the wings if ebola peters out I think......we are at the beginning of a new round of battle with the small world of bugs....

It's fear mongering unless it happens. If they are lying about the nature of the disease or the severity of the epidemic it could be world changing. Hell it could be there isn't even a real disease at all. There are very few undisputed facts involved. Most scientific research we read is not coming out of direct research in West Africa. It's coming from old research in Congo or in labs.

Who really knows? Isn't that the real problem with the lack of transparency in modern times?

I think there may be something lacking in the credibility department when it comes to your source. There is also a headline about President Obama drafting those on public assistance to help in the fight against Ebola. Does that sound right to you? It then goes on to profess that President Obama will be auctioning off seized marijuana in a public auction. Again I ask, does this sound right to you? Not to mention the fact that it claims Kim Jong-Un was kidnapped by ISIS and returned only after North Korea paid his ransom.

Methinks something isn't quite right here. What about you?

From Wiki.

"National Report (_national_report_dot_net_) is a satirical news website. It is published by Allen Montgomery.[1]"

'Nuff said.

This was already posted yesterday and yes, it's a hoax from a known "satirical news site". Read some of the other crazy stuff on their site and you'll see...

Anyway, the previous thread is in the HOAX forum HERE.

Staff will deal with this thread shortly. In the meanwhile, perhaps go to the other thread if you've anything to add on the topic.

Thanks.
