Kim Jong-Un is back

Kim Jong-Un is back.

The North Korean state media has released information stating that Kim Jong-Un has conducted field guidance at the Wisong Scientists Residential District on Tuesday. He had earlier "visited the newly built Natural Energy Institute of the State Academy of Sciences."

It was the first time he had made a public appearance in 40 days.

I giggled when I read someplace North Korea said he had injured his leg while leading some troops in some military exercise and that was the reason he was recuperating out of the public's eye.

Can I ask whether there are any pictures of him being there? Its just sometimes I think N. Korea tell little white lies about the little things and just thought maybe a picture or two might help me know that they're telling the truth.

I share your opinion. The media over there loves to publish pictures of Kim Jong-Un, yet i haven't seen any from his reappearance.

Perhaps Kim Jong-Un ordered them not to take any photos, as he may still be injured? That's the best reason i can come up with.

It is very odd that North Korea didn't release pictures of him, very strange indeed.

I've also been wondering about his wife, Ri Sol-ju, she hasn't been seen in public much lately either...

Although it's interesting that the reason was to protect his wife? The one no one has seen. Maybe it wasn't the performer who was executed but his wife?
