Please visit the link provided for the complete story.

The lynx was launched from RNAS Culdrose and was searching a 15 miles area after reports of cries for help off the cornish coast from two royal navy warships.

The royal navy and french navy have stated it has lost no crewmen on any of their ships. The crash happened 30 miles off the cornish coast in cold but not adverse conditions.

The royal navy and RAF and a french falcon search and rescue aircraft are conducting a search and rescue operation with multiple aircraft and multiple ships. The royal navy has sent two other warships to the area along with HMS illustrious to assist in the operation.

The operation is being co-ordinated from RAF Kinloss in scotland.
There are no more details about the rescue operations

I think this is quite worrying that a royal navy helicotper has crashed i hope those guys/gals get out it.
