Yes, I caught this, too. He was licking his lips an awful lot. I know that when I'm scared or nervous my mouth goes completely dry and I lick my lips and gulp a lot!

Also, there was no thanking anyone for doing a terrific job. Obviously.

Someone who knows the health worker (who tested positive) has been put into quarantine proactively (before this new person was confirmed to have it).

In other words, this person does not have it yet. Just the health care worker. This new person is just a contact of the health care worker and was placed into quarantine as a preventative measure.

Just to claifiy,this was one of the people that was caring for Duncan AFTER he was put in isolation. From CNN:
" The worker was involved in Duncan's second visit to the hospital, when he was admitted to treatment, and was wearing protective gear."

Regardless of gender, if this nurse has had any sexual contact, chances are she passed it on. And if (notice I say IF) she was promiscuous, she passed it on to others who will pass it on to their next lover.

Sad to say, there may well be others. I hope not but from the way the entire thing was bungled...plus we are not even close to being out of the 21 day window.

I also hope that - now - people will stop calling each other paranoids and fear-mongerers and fracking *DO SOMETHING* to curb this outbreak.
