Yurp, the great Eammon Holmes is about to cover this.

And no, I don't normally watch "This Morning".

I will report back

ETA: relates to this report from Cannock Chase, not far from me actually..

So a lady appears on the show, she and an unnamed friend saw a BEK there in the early 80's, very typical account of a girl under 9 with black eyes - it seems the kid ran away from them when spoken to, the lady and friend went after her but lost her? i'll post a vid if one appears later today on YT or OD

ETE: Cannock Chase is a very large park of moor/scrubb, woodland etc.

She relates the kid did not seem evil or threatening

Ok, seems it was a very short spot on the show and there is little to add from it..... the link above lead to this other report from the very same part of Cannock Chase:

Birmingham Mail

Alerted by what sounded like screams, a shocked woman came across the wandering, sightless spectre while walking Birches Valley.

“We instantly started running towards the noise,” she said. “We couldn’t find the child anywhere and so stopped to catch our breath.

“That’s when I turned round and saw a girl stood behind me, no more than 10 years old, with her hands over her eyes.

“It was as if she was waiting for a birthday cake.

“I asked if she was OK and if she had been the one screaming. She put her arms down by her side and opened her eyes.

“That’s when I saw they were completely black, no iris, no white, nothing.

“I jumped back and grabbed my daughter. When I looked again, the child was gone. It was so strange.”

I stay away from redtops too, and I did read that a lot of them had covered this in the last week in one of the links. In all honesty it not something i'm particularly interested in, I was just giving a heads up for those that are. They only spent five minutes on it in the end.
