Fake fake so fake. Guy with the zipper not even zipped up is the smoking gun. Who are these "agents" in hazmat suits? Looks like they're just improvising their protocol. Do you see how disorganized they are. I am shocked people buy this crap. Like anybody would really not zip their suit up all the way if this was real.

Depends on if they want to portray themselves that way, knowing and allowing people to film the ordeal. Some copies of that may be shared without explanation unfortunately, causing panic that proper measures are not taken, despite that they were using his joke against him.

That would be a scare tactic toward him/ building up court evidence. For that fact that he will have to pay for the suits to be cleaned, disposable items used... Also, a warning to anyone else(that is obviously lacking sense now to say such a thing)- "Do not joke about Ebola, it will cost you fines and or jail time."

It does, now that you mention it. I've caught a few episodes of that show & your right..Was the guy joking?? I still haven't figured it out?? And the guy with the open side zippers, he has a face mask on underneath, not sure if that matters, but WHY would some nut job even joke about such a thing?? I still can't figure out if he was joking or if someone found out he really was in Africa & he didn't want anyone knowing???? He seemed mad?? I haven't seen any more info yet....but it's only a little after 5 a.m. Here, so I'll catch the local news in another 2 hours....back to sleep.....thanks for the updates, gonna read back a few, so I can get caught up....
Reading back a few, I tend to agree with Zaph on this one. Possible training exercise......

Here's what I don't get.

If you're going to take this passenger's comment so seriously that you'll board the plane with PPE suited personnel, why in the world would you march him past a loaded plane of unprotected passengers? Shouldn't everyone seated before him have been escorted off first?

Local news said guy was joking. What an idiot!! I agree with the flight attendant that called him an idiot....

Funny how after pointing out on the YouTube page that it's the wrong flight number, it's been changed now. Whoops.

The original title showed flight 850, which originates in DC, goes to Charlotte NC, and then on to Nashville TN. Now it shows 845, which is the Philadelphia to Punta Cana flight.

Guy should be quarantined with some actual Ebola suspects. Let's see if he still thinks it's funny.
I'd have him pay for the delay and HazMat equipment used.

While I think it's an over-reaction, still, you don't get on a plane and yell "I have a bomb".
