It is silly anyway, what does the NT have to do with the Masons anyway? They will admit Jews.

It is just a chance for someone to inject a little religious hypocrisy.

Who not to lift up but those from the bottom?

Because it is not a halfway house or rehabilitation institution. You already know the answers to this as they were addressed in the Secret Societies forum.

Charging for "betterment" of society might also be against his words in the NT.

No one is forced to join and being that we are a not for profit all dues go to upkeep and charity so quit your biblical hysteria.

Yeah, I know they admit Jews...you only need to acknowledge "a God".
Strange how George Washington had a Masonic ceremony to lay the cornerstones for D.C.

For "the people"...

Yeah, it is a little reassuring that Masons (how many white collar felons do you count among your ranks?) Are not in total control of all of government.

Wrong. You need to believe in a Supreme Being.

How many of those are there?

Then admit me.
I believe in the Universe, the Great Spirit.
I'm a tad indigenous, more than that..
You are a human. I am as well.
You brought it up earlier, are felons lesser?
We all make mistakes. Even presidents that may or may not be masons.
does your organization not believe in forgiveness?
Atonement?

If you believe in a Supreme Being and are not a felon you are free to petition.

Again, you already knew this as we covered it ad nauseum in the Secret Society forum.

What lodges? All of them will happily tell you what the dues are and I cannot imagine it would cost someone more than $2-300 max a year to remain a member. My dues are slightly over $200 for both and I live in New Jersey where everything costs more.

If you think this is 'quite expensive' then you really need to rethink your financial situation.

Members from the Blue lodge of Pasco # 173 And Pearl of the West(No Names) told me it would be in the couple thousands to advance beyond 3rd degree.

And something similar from the Eastern Star Shrine in Zephyrhills. And a very nice woman from the Daughters of ISIS (Again no names)

Now again please dont get hostile because this is only what I was told

This is from Pasco #173:

The fee includes a fixed degree fee, contributions, and an affiliation fee, together totalling $125.

The Scottish Rite in the region (Valley of Kennewick) will cost you:

$175.00 Fee for the degrees. Price includes The new Morals and Dogma, Bridge to Light and dinner for two at the conclusion of the degrees. Minimum of $100.00 due with petition.

Which is pretty much what I told you.

The Shrine.
The Fez....
You don't have to buy one,
but if you don't,
and you plan on attending festivities....
you will pay.
I know because I never bought my fez.

I think there's a deeper problem here that will have consequences into the future.

Where is Obama getting is Intel and advice from? That's the real root of the problem. While you all play Obama is the antichrist - the Military and Intelligence community that is giving him his breifings, intel, advice and planning for the future are the ones leading us downhill. While everyone blames Obama, these people will retain there jobs and will be the same people guiding the next president, whether it be Jeb Bush or Hillary. We need to clean house now with them so that the next prez has good people advising him, yes? Isn't that the deeper issue?

Carter here is right, imo. He’s just saying Obama has no strategic policy in the Mideast.
He’s not doing anything about the Israeli Palestine issue nor did he have any strategic vision of how to eliminate ISIL...the idea aof airstrukes is ridiculous...it's the safe way the way to failure likely.
All Obama does is react to crisis one way or the other…not a visionary president, he is a pedestrian thinker.
