Thats it then. Afterr the much awaited official press conference has just ended all we know about this new possible case (officially) is precisely … nothing.

Except if you watched it the guy was taken off the ambulance in Frisco by Zoot suited assistants and passed off to more of them inside.

And… he was in the apartment.

I'm afraid that would just make too much sense, Fan...and after all, we wouldn't want to instill fear in anyone who had just been in there, would we?

They are tiptoeing around doing the CYA dance...when I think everyone in the country (most especially in that area) would prefer them to be just a TRIFLE more proactive!!! Just sayin'...

He was a sheriffs deputy? How many people must he have been in contact with in the normal course of duty after he left the Ebola apartment?

On CNN they just asked what he was doing in the apartment? We don't know was the answer.

My mom just said, "What do you think he was doing in the apartment… licking the floor?!"

Why was it that the CDC did not require deputies serving quarantine orders to inhabitants of patient zeros apartment to wear protective gear? I really don't get it.

Sky news in Uk just said it was the police officer that handed the family the Quarantine notice.

and he wasn't on the monitored list!!!

i foresee 4 possibility's

1. Its a Harmless thing that is not linked to Ebola
2. He was stupid enough to walk into an apartment he was about to quarantine
3. One of the family members touched him ( this means one of them has it although widely reported family are negative)
4. The officer did not go into the apartment, nor was touched thus caught it just OUTSIDE of the apartment.

Ranked from best to worst case

As a person travelling to Texas in two days, I must say I'm not thrilled. At least I'll be 250 miles from Dallas, though I'm stopping over in the airport.

Touch nothing in that airport... And speak to Nobody. Hide as soon as you land. Scary man. Good luck.

Oh, well, the CDC said there was nothing to worry about, and so did the "boys in Dallas."

They haven't stopped spinning long enough to do any decent medical detective work imho.

And if you're pulled aside for a special screening, be sure to ask the TSA guy to put on a fresh pair of gloves.

Logan Monnig, son of patient Sgt. Michael Monnig, says "no chance dad has Ebola". He spent 30 minutes in the apartment.
