A kingdom divided against itself can't stand (Mark 3:24), the Kingdom of selfishness will fall

"If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand." - Mark 3:24

"If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand?" - Matthew 12:26

It is destiny for The Kingdom of selfishness to fall. The only thing that will remain is Agape, which is selfless love. Love is not self-seeking (1 Corinthians 13:5).

Selfishness creates competition. Who will fight for the crown? Meanwhile, it is the kingdom's own people fighting against itself - so this selfish kingdom is actually chaos and it is destiny for it to fall. The love of money is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10), but what is the love of money? It's greed. The love of money, the selfishness of materialism replacing the generosity of The Spirit is the root of all evil.

The Kingdom of Agape is Eternal. Why?

Because "Theos Agape Estin" (θεὸς ἀγάπη ἐστίν); God is Agape. God is Selfless Love.

No matter what name we call ourselves. If we are living through Agape, then we belong to The Kingdom of Agape because we live in The Spirit of Agape - God's Spirit - Love, and The Kingdom of Agape (or Heaven... or God... whatever you choose to call it) gives to each other, supports each other, and loves each other, so The Kingdom is United, it is not divided (like the kingdom of selfishness).

Yes agape is the way, my friend. Ever get a huge burst of it towards a random stranger? Happens to me often probably to many others as well. That to me is true cosmic love. Loving someone (any lifeform) just for its very existence. A non physical connection.

S + F, division and competition wreak havoc. Thanks for this, agape is very important. When it comes upon one, it's instantly distinguishable from physical love.

Where do you get this stuff? Were you just reading the bible and thought everyone needed to hear what you just read?

Saying things in Latin doesn't make them true.

It was Greek, not Latin.

It's not that everyone "needed" to hear it. I just saw that verse about the divided kingdom again and noticed the connection between The Kingdoms and Agape/Love and selfishness and wanted to share what I noticed with others who are into religion, faith, and theology.

selfishness "in heaven and in earth", the end-

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Matthew28

1 John 3 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. Colossians1

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans5

So why does it matter so much to you? If you think what was said is not true, please elaborate on your point instead of just coming in to gripe.

I would have to say that I do not think competition in and of itself is inherently bad. You can compete without rancor and in good fellowship with one another. Part of what keeps my family strong is that it comes together in friendly competition to play games. We play in fun and love and it isn't about having to win although that's part of the fun.

Learning how to compete without needing to win, merely enjoying and accepting it if it happens, is an important lesson in life.

Imortality is not given unless Fear is conquered. The bible makes this very clear, Those with a heavy heart and with no faith and react only on fear will be lost. Tho the Bible couldn't possibly prepare people for what's coming and for what's already here.

Usually if the majority believe in one story that has only existed for less than 2000 years its probably over exadurated.
It's not like these books make a difference in achieving peace for mankind, it's exactly the opposite.

Yes there is threads of truth because the bible is based off of Ancient scrolls but we don't know the origins of these stories.
We know that a sect wrote them, So what ever they were reading before probably wasn't even in the same language as hebrew. Before the time of christ Alexander the Great rediscovered Giza for the greek and roman empire.
He built Alexandria as a repository for all knowledge and invaluable items to be collected in the region to be studied and copied.

Alexander took all the important scrolls for himself, Anything of worth was shown to him before it was stored in the Library.
So Archeologists are searching for Alexander the Great's Tomb. Because it could shed light on where some of these ideas came from. It's known that Semetic people congregated inside Alexandra and contributed to the archieves. So it's very possible the scrolls preserved in the Dead sea were created by he same sect in Alexandria and carried out because these texts were to be used for the Torah.

Not saying God does not Exist, I'm saying Jesus is Irrelivant.
No one can die for your sins, that's rediculous.
People can die BECAUSE of your sins. People die because of peoples sins all the time. And it's not unique to one person. Thousands of people die everyday because of people making bad decisions.
Some guy who was crucified 2000 years ago does not excuse all the Evil permeating from society.

And believing that this guy rose from the dead to accend into space and if you believe in him you will be saved and have all your errors forggotten is also rediculous. I have seen a couple of your thread debating the pauline theology.

Besides all this, It's going to take more than being a good person. You have to be brave.
Because no Jesus is coming down to save you. So what ever will come and save you will probably scare the jeepers out of you. So conquering that fear is essencial. And loving the father, Despite the fear generated and you will be venerated instead of damned to what ever fate if you fail to hand in the ticket for the ride to save your life.
Tho during all this it will be the end of the world, You can't miss it because random explosions, Earthquakes and Tisunamis will make the people panic. Basically the Ring of fire is going to explode and new land mass will be formed from the old land mass. The land from the Sea will be risen well the land above the sea will Sink. Humanity is expect to become extinct during this scenario, and we are long overdue so that's why the threads of truth in the story of Christianity exist. Tho it has nothing to do with believing in the son of god but in believing in God specifically.

The iconic worship shift from God to some other character when the main focus has always been God.
Therefore, Christianity is only showing what they think is the easy way out. Also the 10 commandments are very similar to greek laws. Because the laws are also identical to the Laws of Ma'at from Egypt. THe 40 laws of Ma'at include every one of the 10 commandments.
So knowing that these commandments are not unique within judaism or chrisianity kinda means that Christianity is a copy cat religion. And the Egyptian Religion is a copycat religion of the summarian Religions because babylon controlled Giza before the Egyptians were even there.

So the Egyptians found the ruins of the summarians around the Giza complex and built overtop of them.
There's lots of cool quotes in the bible that can be applied to nearly everything. Since more than one person wrote it, it is a collection of several fanatic minds. The Egyptian civil laws and assembling of society has been an ancient mirror of the modern world today. The Summarians were leading by example, The Egyptians were Greek tho, Because like i said babylon controlled the region until it became it's own province. Then babylon collapsed and the city's population fell for a couple thousand years. People like heroditus ventured there before Alexander the great found it, And when Alexander arrived he met some priests who told him he was the reincarnate of the Sun God and would rule the land. Alexander was a white dude tho,

That's why so many texts have a timeline very close to 0 AD because Alexander discovered it sometime in 300 BC. The greeks built great temples of stone, So it was the Greeks who utilized their techniques to build the city archetecture from the remains of the babylonian empire, the persians assyrians romans greeks and south africans lived there together making up the semetic people. It is from the semetic people Hebrew came into being.

Egypt and the land around it has been lost and rediscovered many times. And everytime these societies collapsed it was because of Greed for land and for culture.
The greed of these nations struggle to control the entire world ultimately is what destroys them. As societies become divided and then soon after conquered by forign nations.

The world of selfishness today is feeling the direct effects of a system built upon greed and it is buckling under its own blaspheme.
It does not take the bible to understand this but as many people have repeated several times in history. Empires rise and fall. The reasons why they Rise and fall is ALWAYS because of greed.
