revised numbers for new voters registered is 128. So much for working within the system to make things better. By the way at the end of the story the STL NAACP leader says that he thinks that 128 is the right number.

Adolphus Pruitt, president of the St. Louis NAACP, said the 128 number makes sense to him. He said he never saw or heard about a flood of people registering to vote.

"I know Rita Days personally and she would not, on purpose, release erroneous numbers for any reason, political or otherwise," he said. "She would not intentionally put a number out there that she knew was absolutely wrong."

Swinford said, "It's a big drop, and it's unfortunate. It's one of those simple errors that results in not a simple follow-up."

So the angry people of Ferguson won't even try to work in the system to make things better. What a shame.
