'Jihad John' identified? Reports would indicate that to be so....

Doing the rounds on various media outlets now is the supposed identification of the IS Chief Head Removal Specialist, Jihadi John. He is apparently the former "hip-hop" artist Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary.

Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary has reportedly been identified the ISIS militant who beheaded American journalist James Foley in a video released this week.

Reports over the last several days had indicated that British intelligence forces were focusing in on the 23-year-old former London resident, who had achieved some fame in the UK for his rap career. Sources say that Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary left his family’s upscale home in London last year to join ISIS.

Bary is believed to have traveled to Syria, and recently tweeted a picture of himself holding a severed head.

Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary had a somewhat successful rap career, with some of his songs earning play on BBC radio. In early songs he made references to drug use and violence, as well as the threat of his family being deported to Egypt. His father, Adel Abdul Bary, was extradited from Britain to the United States on charges of terrorism in 2012 and was believed to be a close lieutenant of Osama bin Laden.

If the rapper known as L Jinny is also the executioner known as Jihadi John, should anyone be surprised? In the past two weeks, a knife-wielding, faceless man in black has become perhaps the most notorious Briton on the planet, the protagonist of two real-life snuff movies as he kills James Foley and Steven Sotloff, American journalists.

His aggressive, grandstanding words have been repeated across our airwaves, their Britishness only too obvious, threatening President Obama and other world leaders like a street-corner hoodlum. He does so in the name of his God.

L Jinny, aka Abdel-Majed Abdel-Bary, is the man whose name has been bandied as the killer. Some details match, and some do not. But the modus operandi of the public rap star and the concealed beheader is the same, and can teach us something about the manners that makyth not just this man, but those like him. As we all – Western leaders and peoples alike – ponder what to do with individuals like this, and the threat they pose, there is much to learn.

I am glad we have identified him and if any of his family are living here on benefits they need to be deported as we don't want any more of his ilk.

One point that I can't help thinking about though is where do you separate those youngsters who go purely to help tend the needy rather than to fight or should we not? I don't know because those youngsters may not have killed but they have helped to facilitate ISIS and obviously believe in its objectives.

Personally I believe our government could stop the flow of brainwashed dangerous individuals immediately - but it doesn't want to and is not being honest with us; as war has always been cameron's objective in order to get pipelines and resources and whatever israel's objectives are done. All he has had to do was engineer the situation and wait.

This would stop and deter most of the youngsters were they to know that their family an d extended family sitting safely in the UK was to be imediately deported to the country they were belived to be in. All their belongings confiscated and their passports revoked. With putting the test in - are you prepared to stop your family from benefitting in the UK many would not go. Its simple, but somehow we are hearing wishey washed talk from cameron such as the worry of the little girl who left Bristol or somewhere to go to fight. - so what she's a terrorist and we should act with the necessary force to stop this - but we won't because of cameron's agenda. Its the best card we have and a good government would protect the people it governs.

For a long time since rap has been on the scene and lowered the standard of our music IMHO we have had this embarrassingly nasty situation of young people swuarking our obscenities, using words ma y would go to jail for - and getti g away with is cos of the colour of their skin only. I don't approve of censorship but I would have thought this obvious trend would have been monitored by MI6 o whoev er and these individuals not allowed to profit from such talentless moronity - my word but I expect you get the drift, agree with me or not..

There are some people who think this is all staged and has been pre-agreed, I don't know, but it does leave a horrible taste in your mouth when you think about the families of such heroic men who have gone purely to help without any political agenda involved. We must find a way to reward those that do this kind of kindness.

Was this rumoured some time ago, about him being a hiphop artist?

If not, I dreamt it, and that's kinda weird, lol.

I posted in another Jihad Johnny thread earlier. It got me to thinking.

Since there's no blood in his videos, who's to say he's not the last guy in a long line? Maybe his head's coming off in the final video.

How would you propose they stop the flow of youngsters going to fight? Aside from the few they have under obs (and have taken the passports off) any old sod with a penchant for Islam and a lack of calling in life could just up sticks and go. There is no requirement to state your destination when leaving the country and you can get all the way across Europe without even having your passport checked, so they could say they are going to France when in reality their off to Turkey to cross the border.

The only way I can see of the Government getting any control over the flow of fighters is to ban any Muslim from leaving the nation, but then that comes with it's own set of problems, not in the least being it is highly illegal and would be overturned the moment it got to the High Court, much less the Supreme Court. We're a victim of our own Liberal ideals.

British intelligence agencies MI5 and MI6 have identified the man suspected of the horrific beheading of American journalist James Foley, according to British media reports.

The hooded man with an English accent is believed to be 23-year-old Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary, known to fellow Islamic State militants as Jihadi John.

Pretty stupid naming him as some people might get ideas and target his family in the U.K what were they thinking with the amount of British national party members out there
