I have been thinking about a different angle for a couple of days-

Could ebola jump from one person to another via a mosquito bite?

Mosquitoes are a curse in parts of Africa(and elsewhere),and when they stick the needle into your blood vessels, they inject a tiny amount of anesthetic and anti coaglulant I think, into the hole in your blood vessel.

Now,If a mosquito which has recently fed on the blood of an ebola infected person, would it not be possible that a small trace of infected blood is still present in the mosquitoes "needle"-thereby being sent into a fresh host, the next time the mosquito injects its numbing/blood thinning juice?

I am not trained in this area at all-but maybe someone on ATS is-and could hopefully tell me I am talking nonsense...
