In the case of ISIL and other Islamic groups it's clearly religion that drives them. Sure there are other agenda's but I would wager the majority of them do it for Allah. Now, clearly, I'm sure many of them haven't finished school, or ever gone to it, but there are also plenty of educated Islam loving terrorists out there.

All wars have religion as a common denominator.

Well, different sects of Islam have been waging war on each other for centuries in the Middle East. Something about Mohammad picking or not picking a successor, right? That's one base for the underlying issues that lead to Muslim on Muslim violence.

Yeah, we Sunnis believe anyone can be a Caliph so long as they are righteous & elected...

Shia believe it should be a descendent of Muhammad...

of course it is religion that drives them. It is islam.

48 Muslims have been killed by a lone-lunatic and you blame Islam?

Are you that confused...
Islam is the victim here!

Maybe I am confused. Usually when a suicide bomber goes off in the ME it is a muslim.
If this was not the case I apologize.

Now if it was a muslim suicide bomber, please explain where my confusion lies.

You blamed Islam as a whole not this one Muslim...

Tell me, did you blame Christianity for Anders Brievic when he killed more than 80 people?
Or when George W.Bush said that it was God's decision to invade Iraq?

If you did I'll say at least you're consistent...
If not you understand my confusion at your confusion!

Ok I understand your confusion at my confusion, I am confused.
I don't think I am blaming Islam for the bombing/murders so much as I said it was Islam that drove the man to do it. Maybe I am wrong and he was just extremely upset with the school.
But if he was of a different sect(?) of Islam than the school you might say it was some type of sectarian violence to where he blew up the school because they did not follow his version of Islam.

I know there are peaceful Muslims in the world so I do not blame Islam as a whole, but even you might have to admit it very may well have been his version of islam that drove him to commit that bombing.

And I think GWB was whacked in the head to think God told him to invade Iraq.
