"The fever-screening instruments run low and aren't that accurate," said infection control specialist Sean Kaufman, president of Behavioral-Based Improvement Solutions, a biosafety company based in Atlanta. "And people can take ibuprofen to reduce their fever enough to pass screening, and why wouldn't they? If it will get them on a plane so they can come to the United States and get effective treatment after they're exposed to Ebola, wouldn't you do that to save your life?" On Thursday, Liberia said the first Ebola patient to be diagnosed in the United States had lied on a questionnaire at Monrovia's airport about his exposure to an Ebola patient. Thomas Eric Duncan's arrival and hospitalization in Dallas have underscored how much U.S. authorities are relying on their counterparts in West African countries to screen passengers and contain the worst Ebola outbreak on record.
(Bolding mine).
The record will show that since 2007, the lowest paid civil servants have earned their monthly income rise from the low of US$15.00 to the minimum of US$100.00 today. OR...it's a public service that can lead to vigorous debate that may result in a ban on flights from Ebola impacted zones.

What's really shocking about the "politically correct " types that are trying to be nice and correct about this can die just like the rest of us, and can't see the true horror that this can grow into.
This does not have to become airborne, the idiots handling this event have done that by letting people fly all over the world out of fear of offending someone.
The family of the guy in Texas have proven how some people will react to being quarantined by having to put a guard on them, some people just don't have the caring or mentality to see what could happen tell they are sick and have infected many more.

Well I think many of us had already gathered that it was possible to get past the no contact temperature screening at airports, but this just solidifies that thought. I hate to say it, but flights leaving Ebola infected areas need a better screening method, or need to be halted all together. The no contact temperature screen coupled with a questionnaire that can be lied on just aren't cutting it.
