If horses had a 30mm cannon I'd agree with you. It's viable and that's why it's being sent to war as we speak.

Your definition - my analogy.

We are on the same page albeit with a different slant.

The thought of the tourists, ummm ...terrorists having some "shock and awe" in theirs and their Mothers faces,
would act as an extra impetus for insurgency in the ranks.

I know my Mom would not like something as efficient a cleaner as this thing - looking for me and my mates !

That's a great tribute to an iconic aircraft.

She did her job so well, didn't she?

Then again if I were air force chief, we'd still be flying F-86's

Thanks.

Yeah, it's always hard to say goodbye to the iconic symbols of yesterday, but without it there would be no progress I suppose.

They didn't make a "ZR-1" in '14. Last model year for the ZR-1 was in 2013.

The 2015 is call the Z06 C7. badder than the ZR1 and cheaper.

If you're not some Air Force Brass who demands that everything in your fleet be "perdy", there is absolutely NOTHING negative that can be said about the Warthog. Best combat plane ever commissioned.

The only other plane that can fly with a missing wing is an F-15

Did you know?

Engineer Pierre Sprey, a former Pentagon procurement official who helped design the A-10, confirmed to The Daily Beast that none other than legendary Luftwaffe Colonel Hans-Ulrich Rudel was consulted to develop the Warthog.

www.thedailybeast.com...

Age old concept and a good one in my opinion - forgetting my feelings about Sprey - no wonder the rest of the world has held on to their Frogfoots or Frogfeet shall we say. An important role.
