you also don't understand the Republican party. You understand the liberal view of the Republican party.

Many have a twisted view of the Republicans.

The standard Liberal view of Republicans is usually defensive especially when genuine rebuttals are scarce.

Many seem to omit key words that change the context and meaning as a deflection tactic.

Examples are plentiful.

How embarrassing...it's like being called a racist and replying "hey, I have plenty of black friends"

Na, I think most people have a firm grasp on what the republicans are.

Most are good people, no different than your average Democrat or independent, that just want to live their life without too much fuss. They are reasonable and when confronted with facts, they tend to listen and converse respectfully.

But then you have the GOP leadership and outspoken lunatics within the party that use and digest so much toxic rhetoric that it has created an extreme element within the party. These people usually run around spouting off the buzzwords like "socialist", "Communist", "progressives" and for some reason keep asking about birth certificates and Kenyan anti-colonialism. But when confronted with the reality that they really have no clue what they are talking about.....they pull out their talking points and rhetoric, and get so emotionally worked-up that deflection tactics such as "well the Dems do it too" are bound to enter the conversation.

These people are "special". Wannabee conservatives that rank right up there with pukes like Pelosi. It's the byproduct of being spoon-fed propaganda......they call it entertainment, but try to pass it off as factual news.

So all due respect, the Republicans we are speaking of are easy to spot, make themselves stick-out like a sore thumb, and are a true liability to the health of the party and REAL conservatism.

Examples are plentiful.

But I'll keep voting...

Good for you keep the cycle going , its been working geat for us.

Notice what a coincidence it is, that regardless of votes or party the largest lobbyiest are always on the winning end ?Even when they mess up they still win (Republican bailouts and Democrat bailouts ).

Summary your vote or your party doesn't matter in a corrupted and controlled system. Politicians aren't the biggest problem, the biggest problem is the system.

What makes it even worse is that we expect politicians who aren't known for good morals to begin with to do what is right for the voters when they are dependent on lobbyiest money. The lobbiest control the politicians image via the Main Stream Media, they control the both the RNC and the DNC and even control the The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) . They also control the politicians via campaign funds, notice how it takes millions to run for office and how those mllions are trickled back down to the media and other large corporate entities.

The system is a sham and as long as people think their vote matters nothing will be fixed.

It's funny that the only way liberal fantasies can exist, is within the bubble of strong conservative society. Think hippies in north korea.

Wait - what?

:-)

Peace, love, only doing things because they're "fun" and "feel good" aren't possible if you don't have someone doing the dirty work for you.

Thank you Dear Leader - for making all the peace, love and fun possible

Are you going to vote? In the United States?
