I type this message through tear soaked eyes.
Hoping now my Sister Christina Lynn is traveling the
Heavenly Skies.

Last night I got the news that She had passed away,
and now know I will never forget the time we spent
with Her, on that last unforgetful day.

It was not the day She left but about 1 month before,
That We had gone for a visit and knocked upon Her door.

She called from inside with a voice that was so weak
We could barely hear,
a voice so soft that on a mirror no vapor would appear.

When we asked Her what was wrong She softly gave us Her reply,
That She didn't want to go on, She could find no reason why.

We had said She should try to nourish Herself and needed to get some sleep,
But She said Her back pains were so bad that all She could do is lie around and weep.

She turned to the bottle years ago claiming it helped Her pains subside,
But We could tell even long ago it was eating up Her insides.

We had talked to Her about Her heavy drinking a lot over the Years,
but sadly now all We can try to do, is cope with all the tears......

Dragons are wondrous and mysterious creatures and have great potential for compassion and empathy and love. And yes...they do cry.

There are not appropriate words, or if there are, then at this point, they escape me. Save to say, I am sorry to hear of your loss, and wish that you and yours find comfort during this time.

Peace for the fallen, and blessings on those left behind.

I'm so, so sorry to hear your news, but gladdened that she knew she had a brother who loved her very much.
Know that she's not in pain now, even though you are. I lost someone recently too, it's so painful. Feel free to U2U if you want to scream, or cry - you will be welcome.

B x

I am so sorry for your loss Syx. Our siblings are our best link to our past and the people most likely to stick with us in the future. We never really contemplate losing them. Not truly. When we do, the hole is large and gaping and can not be filled with anything else.

In your need for some kind of comfort, I would like to say that you can be thankful that she isn't suffering anymore. That is little consolation for those who are left behind when the wounds are still very raw. Sometimes we can't understand fully, the pain some suffer. The tragedy is, is that someone has to live like that with no help to be seen on the horizon, and that is enough to drive some people to extreme measures that we do not always understand.

I'm here if you ever need to talk. I don't know you in that way, but I do know loss and the empty void, anger, despair, and hopelessness that often follows it.

Be nice to yourself in the coming days and find comfort where you can, when you can.

I have an ear if you've ever got a need. I wish I had words of wisdom to make your pain subside, but I do not. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers (if that is ok with you). I wish you the strength you will need to get through these next few hellish days and beyond.

Again, I am so sorry. I wish I could do more than offer words. Be kind to yourself Syx.
