Good job.

I can't see WHY you just didn't block them. The back and forth texting is crazy waste of time.

Did you even read?! The OP didn't do this. The posted a link to a site where this was posted by someone else. I've seen it already and it's hilarious!

Awesome! I do the same thing to solicitors who call my house. I start talking like a game show host and try and sell them something. A few weeks ago, I tried to sell one my wife's sweeper. They hung up on me.

That was great!

I was selling something on Craigslist a few months ago and the scam artists were out in full force, so I decided to have some fun.

This guy texted me that he wanted to purchase the item but he lived about 1000 miles away from me. He would overnight me a cashiers check and then send out a moving company to pick up the item a day or 2 after I received the check. He would include an extra $1000 on the check so I can pay the mover in cash when the item was being picked up. Obviously a fake cashiers check!

So I googled my local FBI office and got the directors name and the buildings address. I told him that this was my name and I would appreciate if he could mail the check to my work address. I also told him to send the mover over the following Friday. He agreed! God knows what happened after that but I had a good time messing with him.

Just a tip: if you have a smartphone you can block any call that is not on a whitelist. There are many apps around that offer this functionality. Search for "whitelist call blocker" in Google Play. Undoubtedly similar functionality is available for other brands of phones.

I love it when I get a sales call.
By the time I'm done, they think they've reached a porn call center.

You'd be surprised how long some of them will listen.
