What can be construed as 'proofs' that the scientists were 'silenced'?

Ans:- the sheer number of them, too difficult to discard that their deaths are a matter of chance, a roll of the dice,etc..

Question 1:- While there may be thousands of employees on the payroll of SDI project, death of a few may sound common enough, but why did Death only visited specialists of the projects?

Question 2:- Some allude the deaths related to stress. SDI is an undeniably tough and creative project, for scientists had to create something out of nothing, and stresses would be quite a bit. However, so was the Manhattan project - the creation of the first workable atomic bomb. That's even more stressful, working under a war environment too. But were there deaths? So how can such deaths be stress related?

Question 3:- The authorities had ways to make people 'disappear' - both unofficially and officially. Thanks to the supreme court and congress, the Federal Witness Protection Programme is the only 'official' programme to make people disappear. It is an evidence of reality on the hidden power of the authorities to make people 'disappear. So was such 'deaths' an evidence of 'disappearance of a group of scientist, spread over a ( short - to prevent disruption to the daily working schedule ) period to prevent suspicion?

Question 4:- The 'dead' scientists were years into the developement of SDI, since the 60s in small scale till brave Reagan push and force his way thru congress to fund and approve SDI. It is not easy to just simply hire a kid fresh out of school or new guy on the labour market to take over their duties. This is SDI, for goodness sake, not a clerical vacancy! With their 'loss', wouldn't that brain drain affect the completion of SDI and set it back for years and not completed as reported 'completed' last year?

Question 5:- As our medical knowledge grew since the 18th century, we realize the mobility of diseases. One can get it thru proximity of each other, thru saliva and even bloodstream such as Aids. So much so that even police, medics fear touching criminals who have aids. Alzhimer disease is a common enough disease for old folks. However not all old folks fall to such disease.

Hard to believe that it would fall on the ex-president of US Ronald Reagan, a person who began his career as an actor, one who takes good care of himself well for the widescreen, then as a governor, one who is assured of first class medical attention, then as president, one who gets the best of the best in medical care, sick or not.

Reagan must have made many enemies during his tenure. He must had been a demanding boss in order to make the decision to force his way bravely through congress, stepped on many toes and agencies to get the vital information for SDI. He even had to survive an assasination attempt on his life during the presidency. Was Alzhimer disease an advance method 'introduced' into him to ensure he forgot what he asked for, and a way to ensure no one believes his words even if he remembers while he confesses on his dying bed one day? He must have made too many 'jokes' about the 'alien threat' and those in power must have not been amused nor believe he can keep secrets...

sigh...will we ever know the truth.....

Edit:- For those who arent sure what Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), is, basically is a complex design of hardware mounted weapons( orbiting satellites fitted with nuclear warheads to pump laser emitters - laser screens ) in space to destroy missles ( or was it to destroy something else?) in its flight. The strange thing about SDI was that US already had intelligence that the Soviet bloc were in dire economics straits in the 80s, only a matter of time before it crumbles with the use of every dollar it earned to keep up militarily against the US, so why the expense?

Stranger still, it was supposedly scrapped during Clinton's time (1993), but reactivated again during Bush's term...but who were the enemies?

Dirty bomb Osama? Consistantly drought hit North Korea? Capitalist China? Happy US outsourcing India? Heaven forbid - France! I know they hate burgers, but surely they wont strike US with warheads in protest??!!!
