Jumping from point a to point b. Space is pretty empty. To calculate planets distance traveled in X time to ensure no collision trajectory requires less computing power then a ps2 game. We already have sent satellites blazing past all manner of objects with far less.

Not to sound crazy or anything but I was just walking home about an hour ago and over my head to the right about 400 ft. Out (just an approx. estimate) , there was a silent and I want to exclaim silent as I wouldn't have noticed a triangle formation of lights unless I had looked that way , I stopped and just stared at this object it was just literally not moving at all and after about ten seconds glided forward with not a single sound this object had to be of pretty good size because I could see it clearly , I would have been able to identify it as an airplane and could not and I had a very uncomfortable feeling in my mind . I walked along the road and this object just glided along and slowly sank below the tree line and I stopped wondering where it would have gone there it no place at all where it would have been able to land because there it no airport near my village at all. So I'm able to identify it as mysterious , set of 3 triangle formed lights , no Sound at all, it was close to me so I can say it was large . And it was flying quite low , for any airplane . Any help identifying ? Loca. New York

The user is still here using a log in he started up in conjunction with his other account originally to boost... he's not surfing the stars, still surfing the forum. And has already posted in this thread.

What a weird thing to say. Care to explain how you would know this?

I too just wanted to say 'Thanks Baddogma!' for the thread.

I know the story sounds fantastical, but it actually made a lot of things in my life suddenly make sense. Dreaming minds do not seem to be an efficient means to do what was being asked, but I had many of those dreams myself. In fact, it is the inspiration for my screen name.

I actually felt a real heartbreak over this story.. it's damn cruel to leave us here to our fate as the PTB see fit. If this were true, even in a small sense, when do you remember a time when Mankind did what was Right?
I want it to be true.. I want us to be freed..but I fear that our future is NOT bright..

Ok, in all seriousness, I think I have a not so far-fetched theory on what has happened here..

In THIS thread, there were some things said, that I believe to be possibly on the verge of classified info that began to leak out.

The member who wrote the "story" we are all talking about, did mention in that thread that they had a somewhat mission to stop hiding the truth of things and indicated somewhat that they didn't like all the secrecy about the "triangles", and that it would be slowly disclosed. They didn't use those exact words, but it can be found in that Cali sighting thread.

It was also clearly mentioned, not by the user who wrote the "story" thread, but another very respected user that they simply weren't willing to mention certain things as to avoid being put in an orange jump suit in Cuba as a result. In fact, it was mentioned clearly that certain people ARE watching these threads, make no mistake.

Shortly after, (2 days from his last post in that thread) the new thread with the fantastic "story" was written. An hour later, the user disappeared, never to return to ATS again.

I think it's clear that this member spoke too much in the strange Cali sighting thread. As a result, the user's account was taken over (by who knows) and the story was written to make the user seem nuts as all hell and was detained by who the hell knows to who the hell knows where. The end.

This is a conspiracy site, so anyone whom may or may not see this as it is, doesn't really matter. The "conspiracy" website factor makes anyone and everyone involved in the convo completely nuts, so it doesn't matter all that much, but certain things still can't be said especially among some well-respected and informed members. I also think it could be possible that we have some seriously informed people "in the know" who gather here, because they know certain things can be said in this community without being taken seriously because as far as the rest of the world is concerned everyone on this site is nuts. Only those truly "in the know" understand this, which is why they can gather here and understand who is really telling truths and who isn't.

Does that make sense? It does to me. Although I'm sure to some it may seem like some kind of super paranoid theory, and that's ok. Lol. Yes/no? Any takers?

While some point to the piece as a well-written article...or, work of fiction... For me - it was too well written for a work of fiction.
The investigative angle was so superb that I cannot imagine anyone who was not a software engineer with mucho experience to have attempted to contrive the scenario, much less the story that went with it...
If it was/is a fabrication - all I can say is - BRAVO!

Why not have this user serve distraction from a hot but mundane topic from the get go? I never read that thread all that much in detail untill now. It's pretty obvious that people were seeing pretty hush-hush things which were most likely not ancient human spacecraft. Perhaps something so hush that it would be justified to try to silence people talking about these. Mmm, perhaps silence is the wrong word here. Misguide.

Now I'm a fairly new and inactive member and I don't know how much that one guy had here before this whole event, so I don't know if my view is plausible at all. I debated him a few times - in the loosest sense of the word. He did not often seem to have answers for questions not cut with a cookie cutter. Such as why use some human cloud computing when a civilization capable producing the black triangles would likely have access to far better computing systems. Such as quantum computers.

I would have believed him to be a lone fantasist. However if there really were people popping into other users bedrooms in the middle of the night it leaves two options. Either that guy was telling the truth, or then there was an elaborate intel campaign here. I don't know what happened, I probably never may know, but I don't think we can discount this being some sort of an intel operation. Somehow I am relieved to have been at the other side of the Atlantic and too busy with work to browse ATS when all this went down...

The question really is if just a secret aircraft project being talked too much about would justify such. I noticed that this all went down rather close to the time after Edgar Fouche, father of the claims surrounding TR-3B, confessed to being a liar and a disinfo agent. The TR-3B meme has been incredibly succesful - go to youtube and search first for "black triangle ufo" and then "tr-3b" and compare the results. Clearly a large amount of people have come to believe that the triangular visitors are of human origins, so much that you find much better material when looking for info on human triangles as supposed to ET triangles. But that meme was exposed. So a new one would have to be made up to cover. A meme with no originator who could ever spill the beans. A meme with witnesses so to say. A meme that would utilize the newfound understanding of social dynamics on the internet.

But I'm just speculating. We may never know.

The whole problem with this is that the sources credentials are based on :

1: His knowledge of aviation projects
2: A report by someone that they saw a Triangle where he said it would be
3: A few sporadic reports of "visitors".

As a sceptic I would discount points 2 and 3 because they could be the same person/persons or based upon the sheer number of random threads on ATS at any one time about visitation and UFO's- could just be a product of fishing for a likely match.

On point 1: I might be speaking out of place here (maybe others from Aviation can correct) but I think that just about every bit of info the source provided on Aviation tech is readily available in similar form (fact disguised as rumour) on the internet.
If you were interested in this kind of thing it wouldnt be too hard to seem to be in the know by just following certain blogs and groups that specialise in aviation/space rumours and picking out the good bits.

I also dont believe the source is now in the stars- I dont think they are in this thread but they are probably still on the site reading this and posting under another name.

As others have said- strong chance of mis/disinformation sprinkled with truth but until the sources credibility is fully verified (via proper exploration of points 2 and 3) ; I'm assuming this is a creative writer, psychological study, troll, organised campaign or meme generating ploy.

I totally get your position, and I am not being critical of you.

My issue is there will be no life apart from the ones left because of the lives they destroyed.

I would live and let live, I do, my life is made up of many of the lifestyles you point out - my point is that we will not be able to choose anything in our lives once they fully take control, if we are allowed to live at all -and I am not , just not going to let these chummy toffs decide to wipe my line from this planet.

And war does not arise anymore from good or bad reasons, pretty much all bad and all engineered for some fat greedy tossers agenda.

I'm still reading through this thread, but I haven't been able to get this subject out of my head ever since stumbling on the final thread of he-who-shall-not-be-named. Before then I hadn't ever read anything pertaining to the subject matter being collected and discussed in this thread.

Naturally this all has to be taken with a grain of salt, yet something stands out to me when reading through our responses and linked threads, despite countless stories around this & other forums.

A thought I feel worth mentioning: its been a while since I've seen a UFO presently, but the subject matter has had my undivided attention since witnessing them countless times since the first time, alone and with other people for a decade now. I will always want to know more.

well, no offense, zaphod58, but there aren't any external sources to back that crash claim. correct me if i'm wrong, but you're the only one who claims to be in a position to know about that crash, and again, no offense, but your proximity to the original story spinner renders you an unreliable secondary source.

i.e., if this is a psy-op or a prank, it would look exactly how it does right now. multiple members referencing each other, with all evidence being anecdotal and existing exclusively within the framework of this forum.

If it hasn't been announced by the military, who then is qualified to verify that particular story?

The person who verifies has to be either military/intel (in which case this is disinformation OR a catastrophic breakdown in OPSEC) or none military/intel - in which case the verifying ITK has EXACTLY the same info as someone who claims to have been to the stars!

Unless the source explained first then it came out at a later date via other verifiable channels (in which case I stand corrected) I would bet the latter is the likely scenario- given assertions that any unwanted info can be removed from the internet by TPTB.

Although above poster makes a point- it didnt escape my attention that someone who might be knowledgeable and honourable (aka can keep a secret) might be put in an awkward situation in this scenario.
Dont think it's fair to put anyone under spotlight in terms of this thread- people do hear whispers and it's not worth witch hunting those that are willing to share in a way that doesn't ruin everything for all parties.

Unfortunately the people who spread disinformation know this too hence my caution.
