From what I know of standard physics.. there is no such thing as a truly closed system, not even necessarily the universe.

Sure on the macro non-quanrum scale.
But the macro scale is just some foam
bouncing around on an unbounded 'bulk'
(a term from M quantum theory).

'closed' is an illusion of locality, and Bell's
theorem and newer verified work conclusively
demonstrates there is no such thing as
locality. ...so by definition there can be no
purely 'closed systems'. This is quite basic.

Of course some folks would rather heckle
than actually communicate.

Btw....I'm not interested in posting replies
to certain people...so I'll leave any posts
without rationality or decorum unanswered
going forward. No amount of 'teasing'
(T & C skirting harassment) will alter my
stated policy in such cases. Hopefully these
won't happen anymore. I don't prefer doing

Do I believe the mysterious story? Some of the tech parts, sure. But if he had just made an account and on the first post said, "hey guys, I'm directly involved in the secret space program and I'm gonna spill a bean or too" then no one would have even looked at his story in the first place.

Whether or not it's fiction he needed to establish some presence and credibility, in the aviation forum at least.

Well this has all been explained to my satisfaction. I want to thank everyone for their input, even Bybyots.

Exactly. Not to mention a break away civilization wouldn't be too happy with the fact that extraterrestrials are abducting their forever men or causing a ruckus. A civilization so advanced would easily have the means to fight back and would do so as a means to protect their people planet and resources.

It's continuously mentioned that the physics are sound from his story which is actually quite false. I can tell you that it's very easy to calculate what he calls jump points using a pencil and paper as we did predictive shuttle/satellite course plotting in Astrophysics. in addition the way the craft moved would not be silently. Another physics-based argument that he makes which is completely false.

As others have suggested, I will exit the stage as well but will keep my ears open in case anyone has further questions to be addressed.

the question for me was never 'is the story true'? or even 'is it remotely plausible'? rather 'why is it being pushed'?

the post history paints a pretty consistent picture - i've got a few thoughts but i'd prefer to keep them to myself (they would mostly be against t&c anyway)

A form of personality disorder/classic unitarianism. Story was fabricated to strengthen and convert others to what the op wanted to make truth. They had no personal proof so they cherry picked and used to strengthen an opinion they strongly believe is truth and no route or limit on lies can be enforced.. Similar to a self made prophecy.

Disinformation techniques employed by current and former ITK's with a purpose.
Parallels between occult cults and UFOlogy (both real and in theory) and their application in psychological warfare

Sort of enjoyable if viewed as a wake up to what is possible- technology-wise.
Thoroughly un-rewarding if any of the esoteric claims are pursued-but you cant say we werent warned!!

I'd add phase conjugation resonance both optical and microwave. Unless phase locking was a reference to that. Also, research super cooled cesium and light. and then imagine running a phased conjugate through that and all the voodoo that will do.
