the poppy is an odd one. In the garden it adds nothing to the soil. It simply takes.

If I were to talk about the poppy of the east, it would go like this.

One might say Morpheus brought that flower to the mortal realm from the fields of flowers, the Elysium Fields. There it grew to take away the pain of the dead. There are other flowers like that in The Garden of Sorrow and Regret.

In the mortal realm, the poppy works in the presence of physical pain without harm. If there is no physical pain, then the poppy takes something else in physical pain's stead.

The memories of another pain.

Figure out what that pain was at the beginning.

Then the poppy might let you go entirely.

I was shot that's where my original pain came from, and later getting hit by a old man on my bike that basically crushed my hand.

my doctor wrote me Rx after Rx until he moved to California and the new doc cut me off cold turkey from 200mg of oxy a day so when a 'friend' offered me a quick 'fix' after days of being stuck in the bathroom I offered my arm and unknowingly placed my life on the chopping bloc

I have seen too may friends not get a call from the cosmic governor and the executioner rocked them to sleep forever.

I read a bit of the Crow's history, and ATS is full of the skull and bones CIA. Then there is the opium wars and empire. Always someone who will misuse something.

I grow it here in my vege garden as one of those survival seeds for the mythical 'when the # hits the fan' times. Recon it will be necessary addition to the herbal medicine garden if it comes to that.

Not meaning to pry, more interested in the subject from a resolution point of view.

Yeah to addicts addicts everywhere.. . (and Penroc, hugs, brother... if you ever want to be "freer" a slow, slow tapering off is the ONLY effective method I've found). Drugs may be purely unrelated to these "experiences" and just conditional to these empty times, or tied in a deeper way. As everything seems tied at deeper levels, I'm thinking the latter.

If I lost my pain I'd just be another sappy "Chad," heh... but I'm working on it.

It's tangentially tied to this discussion, I'd think, and I idly wondered if your "viewing" ever gave you insight as to what it was about? The flowers are perfectly legal to grow where I live, poppy seed bread and all that. Just don't on-process anything.

The poppies naturalized themselves in my vege patch and come up each winter. A bit of color. I never had the heart to pull them up and the thought in the back of my mind is "you might need them one day". ATS doomporn perhaps, or maybe fairy manipulation so I don't get rid of "their" flowers.

The fae manipulate me all the time. I'm a hopeless sucker for a damsel in distress, and a few tears generally works. The cheeky grin after I do what they want gives it away (sigh). No need for ATS style mind control.

The Italiano's used to grow them all the time. They have disappeared from gardens everywhere. It would be a shame to see them gone forever.

The mysteries I know nothing of. "The Mysteries" are a menfolk thing I think. I don't think the womenfolk went into much of that stuff until someone suddenly wanted equality. An excuse to crash the masonic male only bucks party perhaps?

I've known about the Fields of Flowers for a long time and used to leave (deceased) kids there because I didn't know what else to do with them at the time. Checking in on them later they seemed happy. They would run up and then off they's go again. Humans have forgotten how to find the place it seems, even better from my point of view.

When I mention this to other folks they would always bring up the old Greek Elysium Fields stories. Over time it has checked out as the same place.

The flowers that grow there are not daisies as one might imagine. There is a whole forgotten herbal medicine to work out there. Especially with how the flowers work on the emotions.

Discovering the poppy in two worlds, and then seeing you guys here bring up the subject got my tail twitching for some reason.

Coincidentally all those kids that were bumped off by the church for having fairy familiars grew up with all the old herbal and fae knowledge of the 5th/17th century Britannia before the church and science extinguished it.

It was just last night we were working out what the kids knew and could do with those flowers. All of a sudden they were wearing garlands in their hair, on me and everywhere. They all knew. They keep quiet about a lot of things.

I've been reading that thread too. Almost made a comment and thought better of it.

Out of the occult/spiritual groups, the masons are the only ones who have treated me politely, and with consideration. They have never stepped on my tail. They did "visit" one night when I first found ATS. They tried to talk me out of joining.

The thing I find interesting about them is a simple fact; the mason's don't care about the possibility of me snooping about their dirty laundry.

What they cared about was me snooping on the lodges. They have a very old history, and the fairies willingly attend their rituals. Those fairies would not attend if it were anything untoward going on.

I have a hunch someone is out to suppress by demonizing their reputation, maybe to frame them for something someone else does . . .

my gardens of genetically modified thorn less raspberry(we had a friend that is long dead that bread them to be thorn less) as well as cannabis and i throw the seeds from last year down for the new year.

there are two kinds of poppy, California poppy that is basically useless and then there is L. Papaver somniferum. the cali version is a plant that will come up every year, where L. Papaver somniferum you need to seed every year and are the pain killing type

we plant poppy in the winter here to have them starting to start going about a week ago


i have a big container of pod powder that i have for a SHTF event.


morphine is names after the Greek Morpheus for obvious reasons.

poppy pods and even unwashed seeds have A LOT of alkaloids in/on them but even with that you need hectares of poppy and some basic chemistry know how to refine the opium wax or poppy 'straw' into something nasty.


i have a cacti garden as well, i have a few old men that are easy 100 years old. I have wanted to start growing more food stuffs

In Australia penroc, east of Perth in the wheatbelt. Cold winters and hot summers. Not the best place for gardening. The little cali pops grow here, the other germinates on it's own with the first winter rains.

But we'll get into trouble talking about it too much.

I used to grow heaps of the cacti as a kid, they're wonderful plants. My neighbor has a columnar one without the hair probably ten meters (30 foot) tall. I wouldn't want to be under one of those stems when that fell.

And yeah, closer to Nature.

It was mid 1970s when I saw a gigantic book called The Whole Earth Catalog in a bookshop. Fell in love with the self sufficiency idea. A school friend showed me his family's secret stash of canned goods ready for when the nukes start falling.

45 years later and the world is still here.

It was about that time, 1974 it was, us kids used to lay on the grass at night and watch these unblinking white stars draw a rectangle in the sky. Neat right angle turns. That was a little north of Perth near the coast. We just thought they were satellites.

A decoy would probably be designed to disintegrate so nothing useful would be discovered from analysis. The Dalnegorsk incident burned to little more than ash and a few "wires".

You asked once how to create an encounter. I have been considering that since.

The little guys here, like yours, watched from the trees. They can disappear, and are surrounded by a (2 meter?) field that creates a severe tingling and probably paralysis.

As a parallel, some of the very intelligent and dangerous fae are less likely to attack, and will take the time to 'talk' if they are sure they have complete control of the situation. So when neccessary, I let "them" have the drop on me completely.

That can be the actions of someone who is very aware that humans are very aggressive people.

Here is a fae example of what I mean by "letting them have the drop on you".

I read the first chapter of the Skinwalker book, the chapter about the big wolf. Not long after I began to notice a presence just out of sight. Just something prowling, something predatory.

It does not matter if the Skinwalker book is fact or fiction. When interacting with the fae, what matters is the situation and not what it appears to be.

It appeared to be a "wolf" fae. Now wolves hunt in packs, so the ones you know about are not the dangerous ones.

A few days later in my vege patch the "wolf fae" turned up. There was also an injured little human looking girl.

The situation was this: the fae's "precious thing" was hurt. Obviously the fae wanted help for her. So when the fae put it's jaws around my neck from behind that was insurance if I were to do anything stupid. Fix the injured "precious thing" and they both disappear.

If there is to be an "encounter" with the little guys, one has to be prepared to put oneself in a similar position.

i think we have to make a few guesses when we are dealing with this topic that being said,

These others that we see from time to time very well might live here with us, the reason we cant find proof of them is because they hide and use subterfuge to not allow any reliable testimonies about them or a sighting/abduction, if these things are as far out as i think they are the government would be crazy to not to to figure out what is in our airspace.

humans are reactionary and rarely precautionary so any government involvement means they know way more than they are up front with. why spend money and man hours on something that up until recently the government said didn't exist.

if a person kidnapped me and drugged me it would be a huge crime and the person doing it was never my friend or looking out for my best interests.

but when aliens take us with out our consent and do things that are almost unspeakable and the government knew it, i hope they would do everything in their power to acquire such science.


in the past the wealth of a nation was measured in financial terms, but now the real superpowers are the people with the best scientists

so it always made me laugh to my self when the AF would say they were not interested in UFO's, i mean for crying out loud that is like number 2 on the list of the things they do(protect our airspace).

I quite agree with your sentiments and the logic of what you're saying penroc. It is not an altruistic situation.

That video documentary was the first I have ever watched all the way through. I think it was very well done.

What I took away from it was essentially UFOs doing what UFOs do without hurting people unnecessarily. The other side of the coin is that the MOD knew when and where the UFOs would be in advance.

So, to my mind anyway, the MOD was the aggressor in this case. The reasons for the aggression is something the MOD keeps to itself as everyone knows.

As for myself, I remember as a five year old looking into the eyes of something and being told "You will not remember what comes next".

I also know that other people had worse experiences than me.

And yes "you can't unring a bell".

If there is a reason for the abductions, well, I would like to understand the "why". If you understand why something happened one can deal with it. I think understanding is everything if we are to live together with "them". Maybe we just have to ignore them like we do the wildlife.

the one real wide awake and sober as a judge, face to face I had made my blood run ice cold.

it was almost like a predictor or big cat was watching me, i had a general idea where it was and if i didn't confront the small creature was surely going to come inside for god knows what reasons.

i think it was as surprised as i was that we found our self's face to face and after 3 or so seconds took off running and it appeared like he wasn't totally opaque.

its hard to put to words the pure fear mixed with adrenaline and why i confronted it, i think back and it seems crazy i not only was going to look at this thing but i opened the window to get a better look, who does that if they are afraid of something getting in.

I've often wondered if in fact something did happen and i don't remember, but i can promise you one thing the fact i could feel its presence from inside the house to me means it knew where i was in the house.

there are a few people at this party. Humans, ET, crazy, and then there is something not entirely physical at least in the human way.

I just don't understand the fear these things seem to invoke when they are around, the thing outside my window could have just as easily been confronted with a gun instead of my phone/camera.

these beings take ENORMOUS risk taking humans. Humans have a strong survival mechanism and we are not all wired the same up top so their tricks might not work on everyone.

imagine walking into your living room and seeing a gray just standing there and you had a weapon of some type and got a shot off before any control could be asserted on you.

not to mention everyone and their brother has cameras on the outside of their house now, so maybe my cameras shut off but the guy 5 houses down from me his are still running and there would be the proof.


and the fact is that who ever plays games with armed military personnel must know they are safe, and that's the catch for me.

they seem to be slicker than snot to never be seen abducting someone, or the situation above from happening tells me that they are either not 100% physical or are so powerful via magic or tech that we are ants to them, cant shoot down something you cant hit and you cant hit a gray in your house because only part of them is there, the part we cant seem to effect.

everything around this subject is so cloak and dagger that it seems if the government really knows whats going on, it isn't good.

i have had glimmers of what i would call psychic events in my life but nothing like what was projected at me, the crazy part is if they just asked to come in i would be way more compliant and i don't even know why they would show more than a short passing interest in me.

the only analogue to what they seem to act like is, a psychopath.
