Appointment of exec who has past ties to big oil is pissing off the Civil Liberties assoc. of Canada...
They say hes the wrong man to be investigating complaints the CSIS org has targeted environmentalists opposed to huge oil development.....
Id say this is another example of what is supposed to be non partisan government oversight being subverted by the governments own agenda and loyalties.....
Sort of like putting Kissinger in charge of the 9/11 commission almost....
The practice , I believe is far more common and widespread whatever "party" gains power.....

It's called: Covering their bases
and they do it well. They tie up those loose ends so their little plans work. They own almost everybody.
