A total of 542 people in Calgary officially set a Guinness World Record by dressing in authenticated Batman costumes from head to toe, to mark the launch of Nexen Energy's annual United Way campaign.

Holy haberdashery Batman! While I personally would never have participated in such a spectacle, at least we have people banding together to do "something." Now if we could just tell people that we are trying to break the world record to institute government change, perhaps we could get the entire country to take action.
